LEGO is Building Up Their Game With LEGO Hidden Side

LEGO is one of those toys that are timeless. Kids enjoy building with LEGOs as much today as they did 30 years ago. I still enjoy sitting down and playing with LEGOs with my kids. I love to see the ingenuity, the creativeness, and the problem-solving skill come into play.

Once you get a masterpiece completed sometimes it’s hard to decide, Do you smash it or do you display it? LEGO Hidden side lets you increase the enjoyment of your accomplishment by ridding it of the unwanted guests. Yea you read that right. After you build your creation, LEGO Hidden Side uses AR technology via a free app that lets you detect and catch ghosts in your new creation.

LEGO Hidden Side offers 8 different sets from budget friendly J.B.’s Ghost Lab to the large haunted high school. My 10 year old son already has a few sets on his Christmas wish list.

Check out the LEGO Hidden Side Comic-Con trailer:

I’m no toy expert but I have a hunch that these will be the hot LEGO sets for Christmas. If my 10 yr old son and my 6 yr old daughter already want one, you know they’ll be talking about them too.

80s Girls A Freaking Out Barbie X Caboodles Collab!

I loved my Caboodles in high school. I honestly don’t even know why I got rid of mine. When caboodles became more widely available again I’ve had my eyes on them. I couldn’t decide what size or color to get. But this newest collab just made it easy.

There are several different shades and color combos of pink like the shimmery pink one above or the hot pink one pictured below. Ulta has a hot pink and white Barbie caboodles.

I remember my caboodles was dark purple. It was a decent size and held a lot of stuff. If I remember correctly it even has some silver glitter in it.

Did you have a Caboodles?

It doesn’t seem that every store that sells caboodles, has the Barbie Caboodles though and one of them are already sold out on Caboodles site! While stores like Target, JC Penney, Kohl’s and other retailers sell Caboodles not everyone has the Barbie version.

This could be an amazing gift for the beauty lover this year. Grab a caboodles and hid some beauty blenders, nail polish, nail file, etc in it for a super fun gift!

Grow Your Own Avocado Tree With AvoSeedo 2.0 Better Than Ever

Have you ever wanted to try growing your own avocado tree? AvoSeedo makes it easy. I actually did an AvoSeedo review a couple years ago. AvoSeedo worked but now they’ve made it even better with AvoSeedo 2.0.

AvoSeedo 2.0 is on kickstarter now. It’s already 70% funded. The first version sold over half a million times! It’s easy to use. As long as you have the AvoSeedo tool the only other things you need to start your own tree is water and an avocado pit!

The new closed design ensures your avocado pit stays right where it’s supposed to. No sinking. The cute design ads some whimsy. So adorable right?

Even with the older version I always had questions about it when people came to visit. I can only imagine the conversations this one will bring up. It’s exciting to see the first signs of growth from your avocado pit thanks to Avoseedo.

Your Avoseedo 2.0 kit comes with everything pictured below:

The only thing you’ll need additionally is the avocado pit and water. So easy to use!

Check out the AvoSeedo 2.0 on kickstarter I’m also happy to announce that AvoSeedo 2.0 will be participating in this year’s Holiday Guide 2019 here on LuvSavingMoney.com.

Dashing Giveaway Hop: Kiddolab 2-in-1 Activity Table

Thanks for stopping by LuvSavingMoney.com during the Dashing Giveaway Hop hosted by MamaTheFox.

Lana was a full-time nanny and always had a her eyes peeled for developmental toys that were both fun and as they were educational.  After having her own child she used her knowledge to create a line of exciting educational toys for early learning called Kiddolab

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and mom of 4 I can relate.  I’d always look for toys that would encourage developmental milestones like crawling, sitting, standing, but making it fun for my kids so they wanted to do it even on their own.  Kids, especially very young children, learn through play.  One of the toys that was a big hit with all my kids and myself was a learning table.  I could take the legs off to give them something interested for tummy time and make them want to lift their head.  As their motor skills developed I could have them sit up and play with it.  Then put the legs back on and they would pull up to stand to play with it.  Kiddolab makes an activity table that is very similar to what I had for my kids.

The frugal blogger side of me loves the site because the prices are amazing too!  To top it off Kiddolab.com is offering Luv Saving Money readers a 25% discount when you go through my link: https://kiddolab.com/discount/LUVSM25 and use code: LUVSM25

Kiddolab also has a blog with useful info on parenting, helpful tips, and more.

If that’s not enough there is also a sweepstakes on the site to enter into their weekly draw for Kiddolab prizes or the grand prize of a trip to Disney World! g

Merry Little Christmas Hop: Kristy Feltenberger Gillespie Writer Nirvana Trilogy

What seems like many moons ago, (but really wasn’t in the grand scheme of things) I had the pleasure of meeting Kristy.  That time frame was high school.  I never thought in adulthood I’d be reading and promoting her books but here she is killing it with her young adult lit.

I started with the first book in Kristy Feltenberger Gillespie’s Nirvana trilogy, Jaded.  I was even lucky enough for her to sign my copy!

Jade lives in the Nirvana commune with the idea of balance and equality (in their beliefs). As Jade approaches her 17th birthday she had decisions to make, a surgery to undergo,  some new romantic feelings, mysterious secrets, and a desire for more than the little world she knows. This book has a little of everything.

The first couple chapters a very detailed. You get to learn a lot about the characters, the setting, the scenarios going on.  After the first few chapters the book starts to pick up pace. I found myself following a budding romance, questioning  motives of some of the characters in the book, trying to figure out what was being covered up, and more.
