Walmart Black Friday Nov 4 – 8, 2020 Ad

So it appears that there are several Walmart Black Friday ads. Specifically this one is for Nov 4 – 8 2020. I will be posting a separate one that is for Nov 11 – 15, 2020

Here is the first Walmart Black Friday Ad

Since the actual Black Friday isn’t until Nov 27, 2020 I can only guess that there will be yet another Black Friday ad to come.

Amazon Holiday Toy Catalog

We received the Amazon Holiday Toy Catalog in the mail about 2 weeks ago. I saw a few of my facebook friends saying they wanted it but never received it.

My kids went through and write down some things they wanted for on their Christmas wish list. I remember doing the same thing with the Sears catalog or the Toys R Us holiday catalog. (I know I’m old).

If you didn’t received the Amazon Holiday Toy Catalog I have a digital copy for you here:

My kids were able to find a lot of things they like. My nieces did the same thing. Do you see anything on your child/grandchild/niece/nephews wish list?

Spin Master Game Night: Headbanz, Upwords, and Grouch Couch

We had the chance to have a Spin Master Game Night through Tryazon. We received 3 different games: Headbanz, Grouch Couch, and Upwords. The are all family oriented board games but as you read my reviews you’ll see which ones might be better suited for your family

We are a family of 6. My kids are 7 yrs, 11 yrs, 16 yrs, and 18 years. So sometimes we have trouble finding family games that everyone truly enjoys.

Headbanz

Headbanz was probably our favorite game out of the 3. This one was so much fun. It’s easy to play right out of the box. The rules are simple. Everyone gets to participate. The kids loved picking out which headband they were going to wear too.

It comes with 6 headbanz making it perfect for our family. The headbanz aren’t made cheap either. They’re flexible, durable, and adjustable with cute designs like a unicorn, pirate bandana, crown, and more.

Pick a card, put it in your head band, then ask questions to see if you can figure out what’s on your headbanz. Oh and it’s times which gives that extra element of urgency. Everyone from my 7 yr old to my husband loved playing this game. We highly recommend Headbanz game. It’s a fun family board game for the whole family.

Upwords

Upwords is recommended for ages 8+. Though I think teens, husband, and I had more fun with this one. My 7 yr old wanted to play but we would have had to help her a lot. My 11 year old could play but would get frustrated at times. So I think this would be a great board game for teens as it’s challenging enough well letting them still have fun. It’s also a fun board game for adults.

I love word games. Upwords game adds another dimension (literally) by being able to stack letter to make new words. There is a play sheet with instructions and letter value. My only complaint is that the letter values aren’t marked on the tiles so I’m hoping we never lose the instruction sheet.

Grouch Couch

My littlest ones loved this game we played it several times since we got it. I think it’s ok. It’s a quick play game. Something you could play in 15 minutes if you’re short on time.

Grouch Couch is recommended for ages 5+. I can see why with the tiny pieces with bright colors that look like candy. The pieces though just add more dynamics and action to the game but aren’t actually a vital piece of play if that makes sense. There’s little coin shaped discs that shoot out every so often which is how you actually win the game. You have to end with the most of those coins.

The kids thought the couch animation was funny. I did find it entertaining. My only complaint with this game is that when the discs shoot out, it’s kinda forceful. Not like, inflict pain forceful but like flying off the table forceful. We were chasing them around the kitchen until we finally wised up and started blocking it with our hands.

All together I think this is a board game for families with young kids. While everyone can play, I think it’s more appealing to youngers children.

Family Fun

All three games were entertaining. I feel like Headbanz is truly fun for the whole family. Grouch Couch can be fun for the whole family but my teens weren’t that into it. Upwords is fun for adults and teens but not meant for younger children or kids that are easily frustrated.

All 3 of these games are under $20 making them a budget friendly game.

I received these games from Tryazon and Spin Master Games at no cost. Any opinions expressed are my own. This post does contain affiliate links. I will earn a small commission from sales made through my links.

The Rituals of Karma Review

Last year I had my first experience with Rituals products when I got to review The Rituals of Advent Calendar. I was delighted to try the products. I feel like I had been missing something in the bath and body world before then.

Rituals products are high quality and beautifully packaged. If you’re wondering, yes I have bought several Rituals products since reviewing that advent calendar last year. I still have a bunch more on my wish list.

This year I got to try the new The Rituals of Karma products.

I received the gorgeous products pictured about to review from Rituals and Tryazon. I received a full size The Rituals of Karma shower gel, The Rituals of Karma body cream, and The Rituals of Karma body scrub.

Let’s start with the body cream. You receive a generous amount of body cream in your beautiful container. A little goes along way. In my opinion, it’s the perfect consistency. It’s not too thin or too thick. It’s felt immediately soothing to my skin and quenched my dry legs.

The Rituals of Karma scent is my favorite scent I’ve tried to date. It is a light, fresh, clean scent using lotus and white tea. Each of the three products I received had the same fragrance the fragrance was consistent between products.

Now let’s talk about the body scrub..

Again beautifully packaged same gorgeous scent. I’m a fan of body scrubs. I find myself using body scrubs more in the winter when my skin get dry and itchy from the dry heat and in the summer to keep that glow. If I had any complaints about this particular product though it would just be that it’s almost too oily for my liking. The scrub itself on my skin is amazing. But it left an oil film in my tub for a couple days.

Now onto the shower gel…

As I’ve mentioned earlier I love Rituals products. If I was placed inside a Rituals store and they told me I could pick 1 item in any scent I choose, I would pick this product. No joke. I love the shower gels already. It’s a shower gel but it foams a little so I love the consistency of it. The Rituals of Karma is my favorite scent so far. I also love the pump on their shower gels.

Fun fact, this is my birthday month so I needed to redeem my Sephora birthday gift. So when I picked my birthday gift I also bought another can of The Rituals of Karma shower gel because I loved it that much and I don’t want to run out.

Which brings me to another point. You can find The Rituals of Karma products at Sephora and Rituals.com. There are also gift sets available that would make an awesome gift. Rituals products are more affordable than you might assume too. I’m also eyeing up their fragrances. I might have to treat myself to one of those.

I received these products at no cost from Rituals and Tryazon. Any opinions expressed are my own.

2020 Personalizable Ornament + 50% off & Free Shipping Deal

2020 has really been something hasn’t it? It kinds of makes me wonder what’s in store for the last quarter of this year. I mean, we still do have Halloween, the election, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year to get through.

We try to get a new family ornament each year. I try to pick something different each time. This 2020 ornament is going to be the one for us this year. Check out the personalized 2020 ornament.

You can personalize one of these 2020 ornaments yourself. After I ordered mine what I found is that you order the ornament with the amount of heads that you want. It gives you instructions on how to personalize it yourself once you receive it with a sharpie. So essentially your purchasing a blank ornament.

  • You get to choose the number of family members on the easily personalizable ornament. This will definitely be one that gets pointed out years from now. Maybe I’ll even get questions from future grandchildren. 2020 , masks, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, what ornament could be more 2020?
  • Ornament w/ 1 Head – $12.95
  • Ornament w/ 2 Head – $12.95
  • Ornament w/ 3 Head – $13.95
  • Ornament w/ 4 Head – $14.95
  • Ornament w/ 5 Head – $15.95
  • Ornament w/ 6 Head – $16.95

You can start creating your ornament now. Plus if you purchase 3 or more ornaments you get 50% off and FREE shipping! Would make a fun holiday gift or gift basket item! It also says “delivered within 5-7 business days” on their website.

I’m thinking about creating some for family members too. I mean at 50% off and free shipping if you buy 3 or more…why not right?

**UPDATE**

Guys I got my ornaments in already! I ordered them the day I posted this (October 10) and I go them today (October 14).

We’re a family of 6 so I ordered the one with 6 elf heads on it. They come blank. There are instructions on the website with how to personalize them. Basically it’s writing what you want with a pencil then tracing with a fine point permanent marker.

They’re actually like a silicone type material. So no worrying about breakage if you ship them to someone or having them break in storage. I was followed the directions on the site and got mine personalized pretty easily.

These came really fast and they’re super cute. I’m thinking of ordering a couple more to add to gifts for the holidays.
