First Captain Marvel Official Movie Trailer!

You guys I’m so excited about this!  Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman are my favorite super heroes.  I thoroughly enjoyed Wonder Woman. I just love it when they get super hero movies right especially with the female super heroes.  I’m loving the released pictures and trailer.  She’s not your typical rail thin comically proportioned female super hero and for once she’s not running around in a barely there outfit! She’s a strong kick butt super hero and I can’t wait to see this movie!

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ CAPTAIN MARVEL is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom. The film stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, with Annette Bening, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law. Marvel Studios’ CAPTAIN MARVEL is produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jonathan Schwartz, Patricia Whitcher and Stan Lee are the executive producers.

Now without further delay, I have the FIRST Captain Marvel movie trailer right here!

So what are your thoughts?  I’m pretty excited. Captain Marvel is pretty powerful.  The trailer is intriguing without giving too much away.  Ironically this movie’s release date is on my wedding anniversary. Oh honey, I have our anniversary date planned!

Disney’s Aladdin Movie (Live Action) Teaser Trailer Available

Aladdin is definitely in my 10 ten of favorite Disney movies.  I honestly love that they are making live action versions of so many movies now.  Aladdin is the newest live action coming to theaters in 2019 and I have a the teaser trailer and poster for you right here!

Sometimes there is a little anxiety with live action movies.  Will it get done right? Will the cast the right people? The music what about the music?  Aladdin is one of my favorite Disney soundtracks as well.  Heck I remember doing Aladdin for one of my middle school chorus concerts.  The teaser trailer hints that they may have got this movie right.  Let me know what you think:

ALADDIN is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. Directed by Guy Ritchie, who brings his singular flair for fast-paced, visceral action to the fictitious port city of Agrabah, the film is written by John August and Ritchie based on Disney’s ALADDIN.

ALADDIN stars Will Smith as the larger-than-life Genie; Mena Massoud as the charming scoundrel Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine, the beautiful, self-determined princess; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, the powerful sorcerer; Navid Negahban as the Sultan concerned with his daughter’s future; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Princess Jasmine’s free-spirited best friend and confidante; Billy Magnussen as the handsome and arrogant suitor Prince Anders; and Numan Acar as Hakim, Jafar’s right-hand man and captain of the palace guards. The film is produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich with Marc Platt and Kevin De La Noy serving as executive producers. Alan Menken provides the score, which includes new recordings of the original songs written by Menken and lyricists Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and two new songs written by Menken and songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The film, which was shot on practical stages in London and on location amidst the stunning desert vistas of Jordan, has a talented creative team helping to bring Agrabah to life, including: director of photography Alan Stewart, production designer Gemma Jackson and costume designer Michael Wilkinson.

I’m not a movie buff.  So I can’t say I’m familiar with all these actors. Of course I know Will Smith.  The fact that it’s new recordings of the original songs gives me hope too. You just can’t mess with perfection you know?  They need to give some tips to the people that tried to do Jem and the Holograms.  How cool it could have been, how wrong they went with that.

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms NEW Trailer!

This movie looks so cool.  I like the story of the nutcracker anyway.  I’m interested to see this version.  With that being said, they’ve released a new trailer for The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.

All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

Another Female Superhero Movie is Coming and I’m So Excited!

I’ve seen Wonder Woman a number of times.  For me, there’s nothing better than a Superhero movie that shows women can kick butt too.  Wonder Woman broke records and both women and men applauded MARVEL for doing it right.

Now a new Female led Superhero movie has started production.  Honestly this one might be my favorite female superhero of them all.  Possibly my favorite superhero period.  I just really hope they get this one right too.

Captain Marvel started production and is expected to be released March 8, 2019.  The film will feature Brie Larson (“Room” and “Kong: Skull Island”) as Captain Marvel.  Set in the 1990s, when Carol Danvers become one of the universe’s most powerful superheroes when earth is caught in a galactic battle between 2 alien races.

Brie Larson (Left) on a trip to Nellis Air Force Base to research her character learning from Brigadier General Jeannie Leavitt, 57th Wing Commander (right)

I think will be a movie to inspire little girls and help them find their strengths.  I’ve love to see Captain Marvel smash records just as Wonder Woman did.

Sneak Peak at the Upcoming Movie: Disney’s Christopher Robin

Did you watch Winnie the Pooh as a child or even more recently with your children?  I’ll admit I haven’t watched Winnie the Pooh in a long time.  It was announced a short time ago that Disney was making a live action Christopher Robin movie.  Interesting the thought of Pooh characters possibly being live action.  The teaser trailer is out now and the twist on this tale is intriguing.  You’ll see what I mean when you watch this short teaser trailer.

What do you think about this idea?  I didn’t think of this idea of a new Winnie the Pooh themed movie.  The synopsis Disney put out with the teaser trailer goes like this:

In the heartwarming live action adventure, the young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN arrives in theatres everywhere on August 3, 2018!

Yep, you’ll have to wait until August to see Christopher Robin and the gang but it’s definitely on my to see list.
