The Nutcracker and the Four Realms NEW Trailer!

This movie looks so cool.  I like the story of the nutcracker anyway.  I’m interested to see this version.  With that being said, they’ve released a new trailer for The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.

All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

Another Female Superhero Movie is Coming and I’m So Excited!

I’ve seen Wonder Woman a number of times.  For me, there’s nothing better than a Superhero movie that shows women can kick butt too.  Wonder Woman broke records and both women and men applauded MARVEL for doing it right.

Now a new Female led Superhero movie has started production.  Honestly this one might be my favorite female superhero of them all.  Possibly my favorite superhero period.  I just really hope they get this one right too.

Captain Marvel started production and is expected to be released March 8, 2019.  The film will feature Brie Larson (“Room” and “Kong: Skull Island”) as Captain Marvel.  Set in the 1990s, when Carol Danvers become one of the universe’s most powerful superheroes when earth is caught in a galactic battle between 2 alien races.

I think will be a movie to inspire little girls and help them find their strengths.  I’ve love to see Captain Marvel smash records just as Wonder Woman did.

Sneak Peak at the Upcoming Movie: Disney’s Christopher Robin

Did you watch Winnie the Pooh as a child or even more recently with your children?  I’ll admit I haven’t watched Winnie the Pooh in a long time.  It was announced a short time ago that Disney was making a live action Christopher Robin movie.  Interesting the thought of Pooh characters possibly being live action.  The teaser trailer is out now and the twist on this tale is intriguing.  You’ll see what I mean when you watch this short teaser trailer.

What do you think about this idea?  I didn’t think of this idea of a new Winnie the Pooh themed movie.  The synopsis Disney put out with the teaser trailer goes like this:

In the heartwarming live action adventure, the young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN arrives in theatres everywhere on August 3, 2018!

Yep, you’ll have to wait until August to see Christopher Robin and the gang but it’s definitely on my to see list.

Coming June 16th 2017 and I’m So Excited!

I’m not gonna explain I’m just gonna leave this right here:

Is anyone else as excited as I am? I loved to watch the first 2 with my kids!  I didn’t even know they were working on a third movie!

WILLOW 25th Anniversary Edition on BluRay

It’s so weird that this would come through my email.  For whatever reason I took a trip down memory lane with some movies I used to love as a kid like Labyrinth, Batteries Not Included, and a few others.  One of them I remember was WILLOW.  I was actually telling the kids about it.  Now I see that they are FOX is putting out a 25th anniversary edition.  I watched the trailer they sent over and realized how much I’d forgotten about the movie.

Do you remember this movie too?

The dvd won’t be available until March 12, 2013 with a pre-order date of February 13, 2013.  This movie is rated PG and is a good movie for families to watch together.   I can’t wait!
