The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Couponing: Review and Giveaway

A few years ago I might have used a coupon if I saw one for one of my favorite products or a grocery staple I was going to buy anyway. I may have had 2 or 3 coupons at best in my pocket. It’s only been in the last 2 years that I’ve really been seeking info on how to coupon better. I had the opportunity to review a coupon course online which was fantastic. Still, I felt like I could still learn more.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Couponing is a great read for anyone. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been couponing for a while.

Couponing for me is exciting. Getting products that I use anyway for pennies on the dollar or sometimes even free. I did pick up some good info from this book that I didn’t already know. Clarification of some wording on coupons, coupon lingo, Ideas of other ways and other sites for coupons and deals.

Another thing I liked about this book was the fact that they stress ethical and legal couponing. Explain why certain things can and can’t be done.

This book is an easy read. If you’re well versed in couponing you could always use the handy contents section to skip around to info you want to read more about. There’s also a nice glossary in the back that has definitions of couponing terms as well as what couponing acronyms mean.

UPDATE: I woke up this morning and it says my memory foam pillows shipped! I ordered 2 of them at the $1 price. Unfortunately when I went back to the site, they’re now increased the price to $19.99. So must have been a typo thing that they honored and then changed it as soon as they realized.

So the pillows are no longer $1. That was quick.

I first tried the Blueberry Green Tea. This had a hint of blue berry flavor with a very clean green tea taste to it. All of my boys wanted to try it too. I gave them each a little taste test. My toddler liked it the most. I thought it was pretty good myself. My oldest said he didn’t care of it but then again, he doesn’t like blueberries much.

My very first Birchbox arrived!

Do you have a big mom purse like I do? You stuff so much stuff in there, just in case. Your stocked and ready for any emergency, you just have to find it in your purse first. I’m curious as to how long the clip will last with all the punishment my kids and myself are going to put it through. For now though, it’s been working out pretty well. They also just started offering metal ones too which might be even better.
