Last summer I did a review of the original Zaggora Hotpants which you can find HERE if you’re interested. This summer, Zaggora introduces their Viva Hotpants which are capri length Hotpants in bright colors. So what are Viva HotPants exactly and why would you want them? Good questions.
Zaggora products are made with their Celu-Lite technology. This technology increased core body temperature while you’re active to help you burn calories faster during and after your workout. Because your core body temperature increased with the Hotpants you will also sweat more. Initially you’ll notice weight loss immediately following your workout which will most likely be waterloss but because the Celu-Lite technology helps you burn calories faster, you’ll also notice weight loss over time.
An interesting fact, The Physiology Labratories of a leading research university in the UK found that women who wear HotPants experience weight loss around 4x greater than they do when they where regular exercise garments during a 30 minute workout. Zaggora products have been featured in OK Magazine, Wall Street Journal, The Sun, Cosmopolitan, and number of other publications.
I’m taking the Zaggora Challenge in my Viva HotPants. The Challenge, wear Zaggora Viva Hotpants throughout the two weeks and complete 3 – 30 minute workouts each week. Wear them while cleaning or whatever activities I do. I could lose 2 jean sizes in 2 weeks which would be amazing. I just got my Viva Hotpants today and I took some before pics and measurements.
Well here I am in my new Viva Hotpants. I would have been happy with whatever color they sent me but I was super excited that I got the pink ones.
First for the belly measurement. I’m exactly 34 inches around the biggest part of my belly. This is the area I’d love to see the most improvement in.
Then there’s my bum. This area grew quite a bit since the birth of my 3rd son which was almost 3 years ago. Though, at least I have a bum now so if this doesn’t shrink a whole lot I’ll be alright with that. My pre-challenge measurement is 39 and 1/2 inches.
Last but not least…..
I’m measuring my right thigh in this picture. My thigh, pre-challenge, is measuring at 22 and 1/2 inches.
I’m going to try to weigh myself at the same time each week for the challenge. It’s 10:30 PM as I write this. I’m hoping to lose a few pounds during this but the inches would be more important to me.

I live in a house surrounded by boys. 3 very active young boys and then of course there’s my hubby. Let’s face it boys sweat (and I’m not immune to sweating either). It’s not uncommon for me to find shirts in the laundry with armpit stains on them. Those buggers are hard to get out to if you can at all. If it was an old play shirt, I wouldn’t mind so much but when it was nicer clothes I wanted to save them. Usually I couldn’t and they’d end up in the trash or got cut up for cleaning clothes.
When I heard about Raise Armpit Stain Remover, I wanted to try it. If it worked, it would save me some money and laundry aggravation.
What I will say right off the bat…this is a strong product. This should most definitely be kept out of the reach of children and precautions should be used with this product. There are many surfaces the bottle says you should not let the product come in contact with. It tells you to lay the garment your treating on a cloth, towel or rag. I laid an old cleaning towel on my basement floor near my washer then put the shirt I was treating on the towel.
The shirt I tried to use for this review had been bleached. Unfortunately it wasn’t until after I got the product that I realized you couldn’t use it on shirts that had been bleached. I had bleached the heck out of the shirt I tried to salvage. So needless to say, it didn’t work. With the summer coming up though, I’m sure I’ll have 1 or 2 shirts that will be in need of this product. I was hoping to have a shirt I could use come across my path while doing laundry but alas, I haven’t yet.
Raise Armpit Stain Remover has been featured on The Doctor’s. It will also be featured in the upcoming Junes issue of SHAPE Magazine.

In an effort to be more eco-friendly, I’ve been trying to remember to use reusable bags more often. Some stores it’s a little easier for me to remember than others.
I have a number of reusable bags that come with a convenient little bag to store them in. This makes them more compact and easier to store in my purse when I need it. The problem is that sometime I just can’t seem to find the little storage bag.
Reuseit.com offers a shopping bag with a great idea. The ChicoBag rePETe Ultra-Compact Sling bag has the storage bag attached. That’s right, just pull the bag right out of the little storage back and turn it inside out . The little storage bag is on the inside of the shopping bag. When you’re done with it just fold it into itself. So convenient
You can see that this shopping bag is already getting broken in. I used it for my shopping trip to Bottom Dollar Foods (you can see me tossing it under the cart at the beginning of the video) and most recently I took it with me when I chaperoned my oldest son’s field trip to a local historical center. This bag holds a lot. But, it folds into a compact little bag that’s attached on the seam. You can’t see it in the above picture because it’s inside right now. Fold it up and it looks like this:
There’s a little carabiner ring on the side so you can clip it to your purse, diaper bag, backpack, or belt look if you like. Otherwise it can easily fit into a purse or diaper bag to take with you.
If this style isn’t for you that’s ok. Reuseit.com offers lots of different colors and styles. Here’s another bag that I thought was really cute.
