Voda Swim swimwear review and giveaway!
Voda Swim isn’t just a regular swimsuit. The patent-pending push up top was created by international model Yulia Drummond. So what’s so special about this push up top? It visually increases your bust size by 1 to 2 cup sizes.
I’ve kept it no secret that I’m lacking in in the cup size department. I usually opt for padded or push up features in clothing to help with that. The trouble is, a lot of times it doesn’t look natural. It often makes me look…well odd is all I can say. Voda Swim push up swimwear is different in that the soft and pliable enhancer, cups the breast which gives it a full rounded shape, while allowing for bounce. It also gives a good lift and support.
Did you know that traditional push up and padded swimwear can retain up to one cup of water when swimming? I didn’t know that. Voda Swim swimwear only retain less than a tablespoon of water.
I’ve always been a bit self conscience of my body in a swimsuit. Even when I was thinner because I didn’t have much shape to me to speak of. Even after 3 kids, I still don’t have much in the top area. Now I have the added, what I like to call my kangaroo pouch, that handful of belly I developed after I had my 3rd son.
Voda Swim offers a good selection of different types of swimsuits: bikinis, 1 pieces, monokinis, and push up tankinis. After checking things out I opted for the “Envy Push Up Shirred Tankini and Ajustable Scoop“. It was hard to pick a color or pattern but I finally decided on the “Lagoon” pattern. Voda Swim offers a fit chart. I’m also so glad they offer the pieces separately. See even though I lack in cup size my jeans runneth over if you know what I mean.
I typically wear a 34 A in bra size. I’m actually more of a 34 A and a half but since there’s no such size, I’m an A. So I chose the small tankini top. Then for the bottoms, I have a full bum and I wanted to make sure nothing was gonna hang out so I opted for the classic cut bottom style as opposed to the Brazilian that is also offered. I am a size 8 mostly because of my bum so I opted for the medium bottoms. Both choices seemed to be a good fit for me.
Now for the truth. Did voda swim top really enhance my bust? I took a pick of me in a regular old bathing suit.
Then I took a pic of myself in the Voda Swim Push-up Tankini top in the Lagoon pattern
There’s a bit of a difference no? I mean, I’m happy with it. I didn’t expect to put on the swimsuit and become Dolly Parton.

Planning a Trip to Virginia Beach: What to do #momsloveabeach
We don’t go on a real summer vacation every year. We try for every other year. Last year we went to the beach and we had an amazing time. We drove because roundtrip plane tickets for a family of 5 just wasn’t in our budget. We didn’t mind the drive too much but I remembered passing signs for Virginia Beach. I told my husband “We should have went to Virginia Beach, we’d be there already”. We still had a great time but couldn’t help but think that our next beach vacation was definitely going to be Virginia Beach.
So what is there to do for a newbie to Virginia Beach like me? Well my family LOVES aquariums. On http://www.visitvirginiabeach.com/ they have a link right on the home page for the Virginia Aquarium. That will be a must on our to do list. This year they have a Malaysian Peat Swamp exhibit and a Chesapeake Bay touch pool where you can touch sea animals like sea stars and horseshoe crabs.
Something else my oldest son would just love is the charter fishing on the Chesapeake Bay and Virginia coast. My oldest son loves the outdoor activities, especially fishing. I’ve always been a little curious about deep sea fishing myself.
Not all of us are fond of being out on a boat. I found out that they have food tours that I think would be a good culinary experience for my children. These tours aren’t just all about the food though. You learn a bit about the history of Virginia Beach while you’re taking in the sites and flavors. There are different types of food tours you can take like the Farmer’s Market food tour, the Boardwalk food tour, or maybe you want to go a little inland for the Capital Hill Food tour. Those are just a few of the many they have listed on the site.
There are so many places to stay too. Do we want a to rent a beach house, a condo, stay at a resort? I have no idea yet. They all sound wonderful. Have you ever been to Virginia Beach? Do you have any recommendations for a budget friendly place to stay right on the beach?
