Protect Your Screen With Scratch Resistant intelliGLASS

I’ve tried a few different protection accessories for my iPhone 4s. I really need to have protection accessories in place since my nearly 2 year old daughter and my 5 year old son like to use my phone to play apps and learning games. My kids aren’t exactly “gentle” with my phone. To be fair, I’m not either. I had bought some of those cheaper, film-type, screen protectors for my phone. I never seem to get them on smoothly. Then after a while they’d start peeling up for even tearing. I had one of those dirt proof, waterproof cases on my phone but it was a little inconvenient since every time I wanted to attach my headphones to listen to music or plug in my FM transmitter I had to have a special adapter since the case was so bulky.

intelliGLASS lets you protect your screen without taking away from the look of your phone. intelliGLASS is a hardened glass screen protector from intelliARMOR. It has a special silicone base layer that sticks to your phone without those annoying bubbles. The top layer is real hardened glass that is scratch resistant.

I got the intelliGLASS kit for my iPhone 4s. I didn’t really expect it to be a whole lot different than other protection devices I’ve tried for my phone. It came as a neat little kit with everything you need to place your intelliGLASS.

I started following the instructions included in the kit. I followed a long finding all the pieces in each step. One thing I liked was that it had a cleaning film for after you wiped it down with the alcohol wipe and the microfiber cloth. It always seemed no matter how well I cleaned the screen in the past I always managed to get a piece of fuzz or a crumb underneath and it would bug the heck out of me. The blue dirt cleaning film picks up all those stray pieces so you don’t have that.

There is a little card in the kit to help you smooth all the bubbles out and make sure you get all the stray dirt. Peel that off after the first few steps and you’re ready to apply the intelliGLASS. This was way easier than I thought and went much smoother than when I tried to apply the flimsy cheap film screen protectors in the past.

The pictures above is what i’s like after the intelliGLASS was applied. You can barely tell it’s on there. There’s a big difference I noticed though when using my phone. The screen was a lot smoother, the finger prints didn’t show up like they used to on my screen. I can still put my phone in my leather phone case too, the intelliGLASS didn’t add any bulk so my phone still fit in there just like it did before.

AYL 3 in 1 Flashlight Review

Is it just me or do flashlights grow legs, especially with kids around. My kids are all fascinated with flashlights. Due to their fascination though, when we need them we either can’t find one or the batteries are about dead. I had received a nice one as a company gift 2 years ago from the hospital I work at. It had 3 settings, flashlight, lamp, and emergency flasher. It was nice. I didn’t have it long though until it disappeared. Not sure if it disappeared in the house or someone broke it and threw it away, either way, I miss that flashlight.

This is an LED flashlight, has an LED search light on the barrel, and has red emergency flashers on the top and along the barrel.

Another beneficial feature of this flashlight is the magnet at the bottom of the flashlight barrel. The magnet is strong enough to stick it to your car while changing a tire, or whatever situation you might need light and an extra hand for. It’s described as having a “military grade design for durability and versatility”. I thought the best way to show you the different lights available on the flashlight was to do a short video. Super short, 20 seconds to show you the 3 different light options.

This flashlight is bright. The company says that the LED lights will last for 100,000 hours too. Yet another reason to take this on your road trip or on your next hike.

Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil So Many Uses

As a mom of 4 with busy kids (one being a toddler) there’s big messages, germs galore, bumps and boo boo’s, and all kinds of stuff that goes along with having kids. I realize that some of my cleaning products weren’t what I wanted to have around my kids, especially a toddler. Yes I keep my cleaning supplies up high in a cupboard but it’s not just that. The chemicals and harsh fumes that can come from things like bleach and ammonia that you really don’t want to be inhaling regardless of how many germs they kill. Then you look at first aid things and you see stuff on them like “if swallowed call the poison control center” and you’re like “um, then why do I even want to put it on my kids cut?

I had been using more natural cleaning products. I love using water and vinegar solutions but when I heard about ALL the things Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Australian Tea Tree Oil could be used for…safely…I was happy to give it a go.

I know when I thought of tea tree oil I’d think of the shampoos and some skin products that have tea tree oil in them. Tea Tree oil is known for helping with things like itchy scalp, acne, and skin irritations. What i didn’t know what that it could also be used for cleaning, pain, and first aid. This generous size 4 oz bottle come with a free ebook with recipes and uses for all kinds applications.

The bottle warns you that it has a potent scent. They weren’t lying. It’s very strong but it is 100% pure. In most cases you won’t but using straight from the bottle you’ll be mixing or diluting with other ingredients. For instance, one of the things I HAD to try from the ebook was the recipe for an all purpose cleaner. I’m not going to type out the recipe here because it’s available in the ebook but you just take a clean spray bottle and mix tea tree oil, water, vinegar and there’s your cleaner. As I stated before I have definitely used water and vinegar for cleaning but this Tea Tree Oil really pics the cleaning effectiveness up a notch. My kids have sticky messes every where. With a few sprays of the solution it wiped away all that mess: the sloppy joes we had for dinner, the melted and dried ice cream, the spilled apple juice, everything.

Please don’t mind the messy counter I’m mixing it on. That was actually job #1 to test the tea tree oil cleaner on. And I did, and it worked great. Spilled juice, dried grape jelly, with just a few sprays and wipes it was gone. The dropper I used is one I have reserved in my cleaning cupboard strictly for mixing my cleaning solutions like this.

Another thing I read in the ebook was how to make homemade dryer sheets using Apothecary tea tree oil. Then I remembered, I use the wool dryer balls for my clothes. I remember when I got those it said you can add essential oils and things right to the dryer balls. So I thought, well if I could use Tea Tree Oil for homemade dryer sheets, and I can add things to the dryer balls, why not use a drop on a few dryer balls and see how that helps with my laundry? So I did.

The next thing on my list to try is the recipe for a dry itchy scalp treatment (which I deal with) the recipe calls for dried lavender which I do not have at the moment so I’ll have to get me some, or grow me some. I also want to try the topical pain ointment. And for the spring and summer months they have recipes for insect bites and sunburn treatments. Really this stuff seems like it could be used for so many things.
