Mini Super Store is Kinda Fun

My daughter is 2.5 years old. She is in a stage right now where, she wants to do everything mommy and daddy are doing. If I run the vacuum she wants to help me push the vacuum, If I’m cleaning she wants to help clean. We got her a little play kitchen for her birthday this past spring and she just loves it. I got her a shopping cart and some play food and she plays with that a lot too. So when I had the chance to review the Mini Super Store, I just had to try it with my daughter.

We got the box in the mail. My 11 year old son LOVES to help put things together. Seriously, and he’s good at it. Anyway, he volunteered to help put it together.

This product did not come with ANY directions. NONE. It was in a bunch of pieces. We ended up having a few minor parts that we had no idea where they went. There was no obvious place for them. There were a couple sheets of stickers. We figured out where most of them went but there were a few we couldn’t figure out a home for. The food pictures on the panels were basically a cardboard strip that you slid in behind that shelving (will not last long with my kids).

Now for the positives. It doesn’t take up a whole lot of room. The scanner take batteries and actually lights up and beeps with the pull of the button. It came with a lot of play food. My daughter was able to fill the shopping cart up and still have extra play food on the shelves. Admittedly, even though it was a bit of a pain in the tush to put together, and we had “extra” pieces, my daughter didn’t care one bit. She loves playing with the mini super store set.

Easy To Set Up and Take Down Crab Pot Christmas Trees

I love putting lights outside and adding touches of light indoors for the holiday. I dislike unraveling balls of lights and climbing to put lights up. Then when it’s time to take them down I’m freezing my tush off. Crab Pot Christmas trees making indoor or outdoor holiday light super easy but it will look like you put a lot more time into it.

These trees come shipped in a triangle shaped box I plan on keeping for storage. It really is as easy to set up as they say it is. You take it out of the box open it up up (which is super simple), tie it in place with the enclosed ties, and plug it in. They can be used indoors and outoors. I’m planning on putting it outside near the main entry door.

My daughter just loves it though. She’s fascinated with it. I think she likes the lights and the fact that it’s about as tall as she is.

Got Lugz On The List, Cross It Off With This 30% Off Coupon

After a beautiful week last week it started turning a lot cooler this week. It’s starting to feel more like a normal Pennsylvania November now. As the colder weather nears it reminds me that I need to work on the kids’ Christmas lists. It also reminds me that I better make sure all the kids have proper winter gear that fits (they grow like weeds don’t they?) My 2 older boys like wearing their boots to school so they have to have “the look” but I need them to also actually keep their feet warm and have good tread for the winter. My 11 year old NEEDED the boots though so that’s who got first in que for the winter clothing replenishment.

I don’t know if anyone else out there has boys that do this but my 2 oldest boys fight me about wearing long pants. They’ll wear shorts if it’s 10 degrees outside. I do put up a fight when it gets below 30 and I normally win. This pic here is probably how you’ll actually see my son wearing his boots if he has his way.
