Natural Organic Vitamin C Serum from Valentia Skin Care

As a blogger and a 30 something woman, I’ve tried a few vitamin C serums in the last few years. I don’t mind testing out the vitamin C serums though. I know that vitamin C is good for my skin. The benefits I always notice with the Vitamin C serums is that it really does brighten my skin.

Valentia Skin Care Even Glow serum contains 20% Vitamin C. It also contains organic rosehip oil and sea buckthorn oil. One stand out feature from other formulas I’ve tried is that fact that it’s natural and organic.

Valentia Even Glow Serum comes in an elegant 1.18 oz glass dropper bottle. I’m a fan of the dropper bottles because it makes it quicker and easier to dispense this type of product without waste. It has a milky appearance to it sort of orangish-tan in color. It has a lovely light citrus scent to it which I enjoyed very much. Without disappointing this vitamin C serum also brightened my skin noticeably for me after each use. It absorbed quickly into the skin.

Everything in this formula is meant to work together to assist the Vitamin C and help make your skin look younger including: Green Tea Extract, Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, and something called Resistem which is plant stem cells. I have one other product I use that contains apple stem cells and it works great on my skin. Of all the Vitamin C serums I’ve tried this one is probably my favorite. This one actually helps moisture too which my poor dry winter skin needs so badly.

I did take some before and after pics after one application. You be the judge, do you notice a difference?

Check Out The New Holiday Harvest Snaps!

I’ve been a fan of Harvest Snaps since the first time I tasted them. The Sea Salt Snapea Crisps were always my favorite. I”ll be honest I haven’t ventured much into the other flavors. I mean, the sea salt Snapea Crisps are really good so….well if you haven’t tried them, seriously try them. There are Lentil Snaps and Snapea Crisps. I’ve only ever tried the Snapea Crips and they are sooo good.

So why am I talking about Harvest Snaps in my holiday guide? Well the answer to this may surprise you, Harvest Snaps has new holiday flavors. No for real, they’re called Holiday Snaps. The Holiday Snaps come in Coffee Toffee, Cinnamon Sugar, and Salted Caramel. Now, if you’ve ever tried these you might be thinking..oh boy, I think I’ll pass. Honestly, that’s what I was thinking. The ones I’ve tried have a savory taste. It’s something I’d grab when I want a snack that’s not sweet. I received two of the Holiday Snap flavors: Coffee Toffee and Salted Caramel along with two of the tried and true flavors Caesar and Black Pepper.

I’m a fan of salted caramel flavor: in my coffee, in my ice cream, a square of salted caramel, but on my Harvest Snaps? I wasn’t so sure. It totally worked thought the salted caramel flavor mixed with the lentils and sugar snap peas melded well. The Coffee Toffee…This was the one I saved for last. Of the two sweeter flavors though, this one was my favorite. Really, even my 10 year old liked it. It almost had a chocolate like taste to it. The other flavors are int he normal line up and of couse I thought they were super tasty.

My 5 yr old couldn’t wait to start munching away.

Harvest snaps are a healthier snack alternative. Snapeas are made with all natural sugar snap peas, according to the site 70% to be exact and the lentil snaps are 65% natural lentil beans. They use non-GMO crops grown right here in North America. You can expect to get some of that veggie goodness by chomping on some Vitamin B, iron, folate, potassium, and dietary fiber …you know the stuff you’d find in your veggies because..they are mostly veggies. Snapea Crisps contain 50% less fat that potato chips and Lentil snaps contain 40% less fat than potato chips. Both have less sodium too!

Spinmaster Zoomer Dino at Walmart #Chosenbykids

I have my kids start writing out their Christmas list around October. I’m an early shopper. I like to plan and budget. If I don’t have at least 75% of my Christmas shopping done by December 1 I go into panic mode. It’s just the way I’ve always been. My kids are 12, 10, 5, and 20 months old. The youngest being my only girl. The boys wrote out their lists. My older boys only had a few things on their list but they were expensive tech things. My 5 yr old son, well he pretty much wanted every toy he saw on TV. One toy he kept asking for though was Spinmaster Zoomer Dino.

You can find Spinmaster Zoomer Dino at Walmart Holiday Toyland. Zoomer has be #chosenbykids as one of the hot toys this holiday season. When we went to Walmart to pick him up we first went to the Zoomer Dino display. It was the day after Black Friday so I was hoping there would still be some Zoomers left. At the actual display there was only one purple Zoomer Dino left. My son said he didn’t care if it was purple he’d still play with it. So we put it in our cart.

Then we walked around the corner and we found the Zoomer Dino motherload. There were tons of purple ones. My youngest son’s favorite color is green. When he saw the green one, you can bet he was willing to put the purple one back. My 10 year old son was with me too. He said “I don’t think purple is too bad, I’d get a purple one” lol. I wasn’t sure if that was a hint or if he was really hoping his younger brother would have chosen the purple Zoomer Dino

I’ll admit for $80 I really expect a lot from a toy. It better be fun, it better be made well, it better do what it’s supposed to do. For as bad as my son wanted Spinmaster Zoomer Dino I was really hoping it would be what he wanted. All three of the boys could not wait to get Zoomer out of the box and start testing him out.

We found out that each color Zoomer Dino has a name. The green one we got is Boomer. The purple one’s name is Sparky. Spinmaster Zoomer Dino has two different modes. You can either use the remote control that comes with him or you can control him with hand gestures. The kids tried both ways and seem to like the hand gestures the most. There is an instruction booklet that explains to you how to do the different actions with both the remote and the gestures. It took us some trial and error for a few minutes. We found you have to hold the button on his back in for a second to switch modes. If you just press it quickly it doesn’t seem to switch. Once we figured that out it was pretty easy to get Zoomer Dino going.

We also found out that if you just turn him on and let him go, no remote, no hand gestures he just runs around explores, spins around, all that stuff. That’s what I do for my 20 month old daughter to play with him. Admittedly she was terrified of him at first. Her curiosity got the best of her though and she kept bringing it over for me to turn on and watch it.
