I received the below mentioned product in order to complete an honest review.  Any opinions expressed are my own.

I’m a fan of subscription boxes. You get to try new things you might not otherwise have been able to try, you can find sub boxes to fit your budget and interests, and it’s fun to get a little treat in the mail every month.  The subscription box I’m talking about today is, Scent Trunk.

I’m someone who is definitely a fan of fragrances. My husband is too for that matter. With both have a small arsenal of fragrances to wear depending on our moods, the situation, etc.  We both love discovering new fragrances to add to our choices.  Scent Trunk has a subscription service for men, women, and a unisex option.

Scent Trunk uses fragrances from luxury perfume houses that have been around a long time to indie fragrances who hand pour their own scents. Nice fragrances, that’s what you’ll find. You’ll fill out a personal scent profile on their site and they’ll send you 3 fragrances each month to try.  Rate your fragrances on their site after you’ve tried them so they can find your perfect scents.   I received one of the monthly scent trunk boxes to review.

The size of the fragrances you get range from 1 ml to 3 ml. I received Honey Blossom by NOTE fragrances, Golden Cattleya by Olympic Orchids, and Jubilation 25 Woman by Amouage.  When you get your subscription each scent comes with an informative card. The card contains info about the notes, recommended time to day to wear, how long it lasts, and sillage which I had to look up which basically means how long the scent lingers in the air.  Scent Trunk wants you to be able to learn about the fragrances you are trying.

Now, as for the fragrances I received.  My favorite of the three was probably the Honey Blossom. Closer to what I would normally wear.  Still a bit different, which I like.  You can most definitely smell the honey scent.  As soon as I put it on it reminded me of when I was a kid and used to eat honey bread.  Next would be the Golden Cattelya.  It also has notes of honey. This one however is more of a musky smell.  I’m not a big fan of musks but the sweetness of the honey scent makes it manageable for me.  Then there is the Jubilation 25 Woman which I did not care for at all. Another musk scent but this one is not sweet or light.  I’m also not a fan of rose scents which this one also contains.  I hate to say it but the smell reminded me of something my grandmother used to wear.  I loved my grandmother but never cared for the scent she wore.

What I like about this though is that the bottles contain enough fragrance to wear them multiple times.  The one I didn’t care for I could give to someone who may like it without feeling like I wasted money.  I probably would never have tried the Honey Blossom scent on my own but it’s definitely something I’d consider adding to my fragrance line up.  Which is another point, if you really really like a fragrance, you’re able to buy it on the Scent Trunk website.
