I couldn’t wait to try out their services for myself. The puzzle came in a sturdy cardboard box wrapped in shrink wrap. The picture turned out great.

In case you can’t tell from the glare in the pic, I took a pic of all three of my boys at a playground we went to over the summer. They were all climbing on different parts of this climbing tower and thought it made a great picture. I chose a holiday border for my puzzle but there are different themes you could go with. My boys and I had so much fun putting the puzzle together.

I was highly impressed with the quality of the pieces. They wer very sturdy and fit together easy. They were just as well made if not better than a puzzle you’d pick up at the store. We chose the Medium size cardboard puzzle that has 100 pieces. There are several sizes to choose from though. You can choose a puzzle with as little as 6 pieces maybe for a small child or you can go as high as a 2000 piece puzzle by choosing the Giant Puzzle size. Piczzle puzzles also come in your choice of cardboard or wooden.

UGLee Pens, looks funny works great: review and giveaway

UGLee Pens were created by Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee has a BS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and his MD from Stanford University School of Medicine. When he was a medical student, he took lots of notes. As a Dr. he averages 20 full pages of hand written notes a day. With all the writing he’s done he’d find his hand cramping. Thinking there has to be a more comfortable pen. After 8 years of obsessively experimenting, making prototypes, and even being known to fire his own clay pens, he came up with the UGLee Pen.

It has a full size grip where your fingers would grip the pen . It’s paired with the smoothest ink system known.

I tried the UGLee pen for myself and gave one to my husband to use. I work in the health field too. Making my patient list, taking down notes, marking of papers, filling out my mandatory paper work. Not to mention at home with signing kids papers, filling out forms, keeping notes for this blog, and whatever else may come up.

Just holding the pen I was impressed with how comfortable it felt. The grip is larger and has sort of a gel like feel. It has a raised design in the gel-like grip that also seems to help keep it from slipping. It does write well. I had to do the initial scratches at first to get it going but as soon as the ink started to flow I didn’t have to put much pressure at all to get a legible ink stroke.

Another feature I like about the UGLee pens is that the ink cartridge is refillable. A pack of ten refills is only $15 plus shipping. You can get blue, black, or red ink. The pen itself come in a variety of colors. The 3 I received were blue.

I examined it and finally saw the tiny little ceramic tip sticking out of the narrower end. I was skeptical how it would work. Then I put it to the test on my coupons It worked fantastically.

As I played around with it, I find out that not only is the slice™ Safety Cutter – Great for couponers but it’s great for cutting wrapping paper, scrapbooking, cutting my kids flash cards apart that they brough home from school, cutting recipes from the paper or magazines, and who knows what else.

The built in magnet is one of my personal favorite features. I can keep it on my fridge and always know where it is.

It’s very comfortable to hold and use. At a price of only $5.99 this is a definite go buy. This would even make a great stocking stuffer for the couponer or scrapbooker.

PMD Daily Regeneration System for the PMD personal microderm home system

About a month ago, I posted a review for the PMD personal microdermabrasion system. Recently PMD introduced their new skin care line meant to compliment the PMD personal microderm system.

You can see the PMD tool on the left and a PMD Daily Regeneration System starter kit on the right. I tried the Daily Regeneration System for 25 days along with my weekly use of the personal microderm tool.

The PMD Daily Regeneration System includes 3 steps:

1. Advanced Soothing Cleanser — gently cleans to remove dirt and make up without damaging the lipid barrier of the skin. It also actively soothes and reduces redness in skin and irritation.

2. Calming Neuro Neutralizing Toner — balances ph levels in the skin & renews skin cells. It heals damaged skin and reduces redness and irritation. It minimizes pores and improves skins tone and texture.

3. Professional Recovery Moisturizer — moisturizes skin, improves elasticity and firmness, increases cell renewal, and improves the healing and recovery process.

This skin care system is available in two sizes: the starer kit (shown below) and the full size kit. You can also get the products individually if you choose. They are available on Apothica.com and PMD’s website.

The skincare system is meant to be used daily, even when not using the PMD device. On the day you use the PMD device you are supposed to wash your face with the cleanser then dry. You use the personal microderm device then follow with the toner and moisturizer. I really expected the toner to sting after use of the device but it didn’t. Any redness that I experienced after use went away noticably quicker than when I didn’t use the skincare system before.
