You can create pillows, clothing, and more with a theme you like. Maybe to show support for someone, maybe to create something family oriented. I loved the word art pillows. Particularly, the welcome home word art pillow.

You can pick from different color schemes for the word colors on the pillow. You even have the option to add in your own words to the word cloud. I’ll admit I didn’t add any in, I used the preset words. I really liked the preset words of: Memories, Laugh, Tradition, Together, Love, Family. I think this reminds me of my family. We have a lot of traditions, especially for the holidays but really all year. We’ve had people make comments to us like “your family really has a lot of traditions”. I think we’ve done it for so long we don’t really think about how many we have. The color scheme I chose went well with my living room. The brown couch, with the burgundy accents. The pop of white makes the pillow stand out on my couch.

The cover is removable so it can be washed. The pillow itself is soft while the cover is a canvas type fabric. Wouldn’t this pillow be lovely to add to a family gift basket or give with a blanket? If our Christmas tree has a theme, it would be memories. That’s the best way to describe it. Most of our ornaments are things like “baby’s 1st Christmas”, family ornaments, “our first Christmas together”, you know things like that. Each of my kids got an ornament for their first Christmas some got a few. I’d buy one then my dad would buy one and maybe my MIL. I love looking through our tree and having the ornaments bring back memories. The one thing that was glaringly obvious to me was that we didn’t have a family ornament with our daughter (who was born last year) on it yet . Every year when I set up my Christmas lights I think, I’d like more. The other aspect is that I’ve been wanting to look into one of those timers. You know the timers that turn your lights on and shut them off at the same time every day so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn them off before you go to bed or forget to turn them on at all.

I got a strand of lights to add to my outdoor lights. I also got some white electrical tape to help secure some of the lights around the windows inside and the timer I was telling you about.

I was a little nervous about the timer. I never used a timer before. I fully expected it to be complicated and I really hate to ask my husband for help on stuff like that. I’m just stubborn, that’s all. So I get the device and you can plug two plugs into it. There is a dial and a bunch of gray tabs going around it. I’m reading the directions and i think, “this doesn’t sound too complicated” We shall see I suppose.

The electrical tape I got was really reasonable too. They had it in a bunch of different colors. I got white electrical tape hoping it would blend in better on my window seals to use with my lights. I used it when I put my son’s battery operated lights up in his window. You can barely see it right?
