The LEGO® Movie Blu-Ray Giveaway

I”m so excited to be working with Partnershub again on giving away a Blu-Ray of The Lego Movie. We don’t get to the theaters much, only when there is a movie the whole family really wants to see. The Lego Movie was one of those movies. My 10 yr old son is a LEGO fanatic and my youngest son is very into it to. Everyone enjoyed it including my husband down to my youngest son. There was a lot of cute things in the movie. Many of the characters are voice by very well known actors.

The LEGO movie is no available on Blu-Ray/dvd. I knew we would have to buy it for our family to own. I ended up buying it to own digitally from our cable company but I’d love to have a dvd too so my kids can take it to school for movie days and such.

Here’s a synopsis of the movie if you haven’t seen it yet:

The LEGO® Movie, the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller is an original 3D computer animated story that follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. Chris Pratt (Moneyball) stars as the voice of Emmet. Will Ferrell (The Campaign) stars as the voice of his primary adversary, President Business, an erudite, anal-retentive CEO who has a hard time balancing world domination with micro-managing his own life; while Liam Neeson (Taken) voices the president’s powerful henchman, known as Bad Cop, who will stop at nothing to catch Emmet.

Starring as Emmet’s fellow travelers are Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby), as Vitruvius, an old mystic; Elizabeth Banks (The Hunger Games, Emmy nominee for 30 Rock), as tough-as-nails Lucy, who mistakes Emmet for the savior of the world and guides him on his quest; Will Arnett (Emmy nominee, 30 Rock), as the mysterious Batman, a LEGO minifigure with whom Lucy shares a history; Nick Offerman (NBC’s Parks and Recreation) as a craggy, swaggering pirate, obsessed with revenge on President Business; and Alison Brie (Community) as a sweet, loveable member of the team, with a powerful secret.

We tried the Mac and Cheese Aged White Cheddar for lunch that very day. Everyone enjoyed it. It had a good taste and was easy to prepare. It’s definitely worth a try. The boys said they like it. I like the cute packaging and ease of preparation.

I had the opportunity to review an item from WillamyCollection.com. It was so hard choosing just one item. So many gorgeous pieces. I decided to try one of Willamy Collection’s suede watch wraps. I chose the Harvest Suede Watch Wrap. I liked it because it was a neutral color and could go with a lot of outfits. I could picture it with a tank top and a khaki shorts or a with a casual off-white sundress. .

Unwrapped, these wraps a pretty long and meant to wrap around a few times. I found that the watch part can actually be removed pretty easily so if I decided i didn’t want to wear it as a watch at any point, I could wear it as a bracelet instead.

Because they’re so long when unwrapped it gives ou the freedom to make them as tight or as loose as you like. I preferred it tighter because it seemed to keep the watch face more where I wanted it. These watches usually run between $136 and $142 on the site but are on sale right now between $72-76 for the ladies. They also have very cool looking men’s leather bracelets starting at $26 and adorable kids bracelets. Classic wraps can be worn as bracelets, anklets, or necklaces. They’re all made with genuine leather and quality crystals and beads.
