So your kids talked you into having a Christmas party at the house for them and their friends? Or maybe you’re in charge of your child’s classroom Christmas party. Don’t panic, everything you need is at Oriental Trading. Seriously they have Plates, napkins, decorations, games, prizes, gift bag items, table clothes, crafts, candy…really anything you need except maybe the real Santa himself.
I hosted Thanksgiving dinner at my house this year. I decided to do a little Christmas season kick off party of sorts after everything was cleaned up for the kids. After the table was cleaned my kids and some of their younger cousins did a “color-your-own snow globe” craft. This was a great kit because it was easy so it was perfect from the kids ranging from 3 to 9 yrs old. The only things you needed were something to color with and water. It gave them a nice little take home item too.
Then they played a super cute bean bag toss game we got from Oriental Trading. It has Santa’s head on it and the bean bags look like cookies. So you’re throwing cookies into Santa’s mouth lol. Again it was a game that all ages couple play. Even my 12 year old got in on that game. We had ages 3 to adult taking turns trying to feed Santa cookies. Oriental trading had other fun Christmas games too.
For my son to take to school I got cute Snoopy Christmas treat bags, a 24 pack of scratch art, ornaments, and a candy assortment. There is so much candy in the assortment though I might just have enough to stuff some stockings with too!
And what’s a Christmas party at home without some nice decorations to meet your guests. I’m always looking for easy decoration and lighting solutions. I hate having cords laying everywhere but I like the Christmas lights. I got this nice battery powered star that I can hang on my door. I just love it.
Kids Christmas kick-off party…check, Holiday decorations…check, Son’s goody bags for his Christmas party at school…check. Got everything done and on budget thanks to Oriental Trading!
