It’s the summer, time for bbq’s, picnics, and outdoor parties.  If you’re like us, we like to use our grill at least once a week in the summer and eat out on our wraparound front porch.  Ahh I love summer.  I don’t think anyone would turn down a nice freshly grilled burger, hot dog, or whatever off the grill but if you’re looking for some different recipes for your summer grilling, Wholly Salsa and Wholly Guacamole have some ideas for you.  Check out this one:

Cilantro Burger

by Wholly Guacamole® brand

Need some burger inspiration? If you want to take your burger routine to the next level, try out the Wholly Guacamole® dip cilantro lime cheeseburger. It’s a Mexican twist on your everyday burger. Fresh cilantro and tangy lime juice gives this burger a south of the border kick that can’t be beat.
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 6 slices of Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 Hamburger buns
  • Your favorite flavor of Wholly Guacamole dip

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, lime juice, garlic, onion, tomatoes and cilantro.
  2. Form beef mixture into patties.
  3. Cook burgers to desired doneness on a preheated grill. Add cheese to each burger during the last minute of cooking.
  4. Serve on toasted buns with a healthy dollop of Wholly Guacamole dip!

Always cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

The perfect topping for this mouth-watering masterpiece is creamy Wholly Guacamole dip. You can even add hot sauce if you’re feeling spicy. This will quickly become your family’s new favorite! Try it today.
Oh yummy that sounds so good to me. I personally love just eating a freshly grilled burger with avocado on it.  Healthier than adding mayo but oh so tasty.  My oldest son requested a bbq for his birthday this year.  I brought out the avocado for anyone that wanted to try it on their burger.

Let me tell you it was so goo.  My sister and I both added the Wholly Avocado to our burgers and both really enjoyed it.  I also put out some Wholly Salsa with tortilla chips as a snack item.  The Medium Salsa didn’t last long at all.
