As a frugal lifestyle blogger, I only recently started using the digital coupons at Dollar General. I had heard of them prior but didn’t really know how they work. I had a bunch of questions like: “I don’t have a “Dollar General” card how do I load the coupons?” and “Ok so I added them to my Dollar General account online how in the world do I use them in the store?”
I decided to give it a try on the SCOTT® products bonus packs at Dollar General. I created an account on DollarGeneral.com. There’s a coupon tab right at the top of the site that will take you right to the digital coupons. Just click the digital coupons banner when you get to the coupons page. Clip the coupons you want like the SCOTT® products digital coupons . Then when you go to Dollar General you won’t have to forget about taking them, they’ll already be in your account.
We go through bath tissue like no one’s business with 6 people and two bathrooms in our household. SCOTT® products has bath tissue bonus packs. I got the biggest bonus pack I could get. SCOTT® Extra Soft Bath bath tissue double roll 16 pack gives you two bonus rolls also. We’re still using our bonus pack. You don’t need a lot of the SCOTT® Extra Soft Bath bath tissue to get the job done if you know what I mean.
I found the SCOTT® products bonus packs at Dollar General. I went to the register told the cashier I had no idea how to use digital coupons but I had one for the bath tissue. She showed me that there was a small yellow button at the bottom of the touch screen that was labeled “DG digital coupons” The $1 savings came off my order automatically.
The way I see it Dollar General digital coupons are the only ones I know of that are completely digital. No card to load, no coupons to print, nothing to forget when you go to the store. If you want to try them but not sure where the closest Dollar General is, you can check the Dollar General store locator.
