For the month of April I wanted to share with you my new venture.  I’m not an official Doterra Wellness Advocate.  I became curious about essential oils when searching for more natural ways to compliment what my doctor was prescribing me for some health issues I was having.

One day at work, I was having a really bad day. I was stressed to the max.  She put some ylang ylang essential oil on me.  I didn’t expect much from it. I went home that day and felt like I was ready for bed. I blamed it on the busy day I had. She had given me a small sample. The next night I put some on just to see if it worked. I fell asleep within minutes which is very unusual for me. The following night my hubby was stressed from his night at work. I put some on him. He told me the next day. “Whatever that stuff was you put on me, I slept like a rock.  We need to think about getting some of that.”  Since then I’ve tried it on my 4 yr old daughter.  She now asks for “sleepy juice” when she can’t fall asleep.

Ylang ylang was my first oil love. As I discovered more and learned more ways to use them I really got into essential oils.  Small burns, cuts, headaches, skin care, congestion, natural cleaning products, oh so many ways I’ve used them already and still learning more.

  7. I would love to try the Wild Orange citrus oil, I imagine that this smells fabulous!!

    1. It really does. I had it in my diffuser yesterday in my kitchen to give me some energy to clean. My oldest son came downstairs and says “mom it smell like an orchard in here” I only used 3 drops in my diffuser lol

    1. Lavender is my go-to oil. Not only does it smell amazing but it’s calming, good for the cleansing, helps with irritated skin, and more. I wear an essential oil locket to work and I have coworkers coming up to me throughout the day to smell my necklace lol

    1. I have this kit and it’s wonderful. 8 different essential oils plus the coconut oil carrier oil and the popular petal diffuser.

  11. I like the lemon one because I think it would be invigorating. I think that’s a big thing having the energy to keep going and get it done!

    1. Lemon is great for that. Lemon oil has lots of uses: put it in homemade cleaners, put a drop in water for flavor and an energy boost, and more

    1. yes that’s exactly it. I tried to get on myself after working my day job. I can’t even get on and I’m a wellness advocate. Huge draw for the Mother’s day promo.
