KT Tunstall "Tiger Suit" Album Review

I’m a fan of all types of music. Anything from rock, rap, country, whatever..throw it at me. I’m a fan of women musicians that actually have thought provoking lyrics and talent. When I say talent, I mean can write their own lyrics, can actually sing, and doesn’t need to expose their bodies to sell records.

I have been a fan of KT Tunstall since I heard “Black Horse and The Cherry Tree”. I got the album “Tiger Suit” in the mail today from One2One Network for review. I could barely wait to get the mailer open and pop it into my computer. The very first song on the album was an awesome intro to what was to come on the rest of the album. Her warm and somewhat soulful voice is distinct. The album in general is very energetic. KT calls this “Nature Techno”. The sound changes up with the song “Golden Frames” which has a bluesy feel to it.

The first single off of this album is “Fade Like A Shadow”. “Fade Like a Shadow” is already a Top 20 hit on the radio. You can check out snippets of some of the songs on KT Tunstall’s website: http://www.kttunstall.com/

Just click the play button on the boom box on the right side of the website. My personal favorite song on the album? Hmm it’s going to be hard to choose between “Uummannaq Song” and “Glamour Puss”. OR maybe “Madame Trudeaux” um yea it’s hard. You decide.

This is a great album that I think would appeal to many genres. This album is going to be great for drives home from work, cleaning, or even time on my treadmill. Very versatile and great sound.

Razor bumps. They can be unsightly and even uncomfortable. I don’t seem to get many razor bumps when I shave my legs but under my arms or…**another area** I do. If you think about it, why do we shave? I would say because I feel more presentable and for smooth skin. If those razor bumps pop-up it kinda takes away from that I think.

Princereign Ingrown Hair Serum is a thin gel-like consistency that smooths over easily. After shaving I applied the product to my skin. I can honestly say I did notice a great reduction in razor bumps in those areas I mentioned above. It contains all natural ingredients too. No freaky chemicals.

I was a little unsure of what it would feel like when I put it on. Would it be cooling? Would it sting? Would it be sticky? It was none of the above. A little went a long way. It dried pretty quickly.

Princereigns ingrown hair serum is used by celebs and models like Gisele Bundchen to remove ingrown hairs and razor bumps. It softens and straightens the hair follicles to prevent future ingrown hairs. It says it also removes dark spots and blemishes for even skin tone. I can’t speak on that part since really didn’t have any blemishes or dark spots where I used it. Review Summary: This product really did work. I was surprised at the lack of razor bumps in the normal areas I get razor bumps. This product sells for $24.99 which is a bit pricey for my taste. The good news is a little goes a long way with this product. Since it does work, if you’re someone who suffers from razor bumps frequently it may be a good buy for you. SmartknitKIDS Seamless Socks Review and Giveaway–CLOSED

Seamless socks sounded like a good idea to me. I know sometimes I get that pair of socks where the seem along the toes is kind of bulky and actually rubs on my toes. So when I had the opportunity for my kids to try SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Sensitivity socks I thought, why not?

Their slogan “No Seams to Bug YA!” When I got them in the mail I told my boys that they each got a pair of socks I wanted them to try on so I could review them. I didn’t give them any details as to why they might be different than regular socks. My 8 year old put his on and said “Mom these socks are really soft. Can I wear them around the house?” Of course, I told him yes. Then my 6 year old came in and I had him put them on . He wore them for the rest of the night. I also had a pair for the baby (my 15 mo old). I was surprised at how well they fit and stayed on him. Even through his crawling, creeping around on the furniture, and approximately 15 trips up and down the steps that he so enjoys doing.

SmartKnitKIDS was kind enough to send a pair for each of my boys and sent a different color for each. My oldest got white, my 6 year old got Navy blue, and the baby got black.

I already told you that the SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Sensitivity socks have well…no seams but they also have a “no heel” design. Why? Because it keeps little ones from outgrowing their socks so quickly . The “Non-binding Halo Top” won’t pinch or bind.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant I also see the benefit in these for children with Autism or other Sensory disorders. Often things likes seams, tags, backing for appliques can distracting and uncomfortable for a child with a Sensory disorder. SmartKnitKIDS Seamless Sensitivity socks would be a wonderful addition to a child with special needs wardrobe.

Review Summary: At $7 a pair the socks may seem expensive. The fact that they will last through several sizes is a plus. My kids loved the comfort of the socks. I loved that I didn’t have to keep putting these socks back on the baby like I do with other socks. For a child with special needs these socks could be invaluable.
