Kiss Nail Dress review #Lovevoxbox

I am a member of Influenster.com.  I received my very first Influenster box called the Love Vox Box about a week ago.  I’ve trying the products in my box and finally had  chance to try the Kiss Nail Dress.

Kiss Nail Dress are “Fashion Strips” that stick to your nail.  The look something like the nail shields that some people are familiar with.  The difference between these and other nail shields I’ve tried is that you just stick them and file them.  That’s it.  No using heat to adhere them to your nails like other nail shields.

Kiss Nail Dress is supposed to last up to 10 days on your nails.  If you want to remove them, you simply peel them off.  I received the Kiss Nail Dress in the style number KDS14 like a cheetah spot pattern that has purple and silver spots and pink smudges here and there.  Very cool looking.

I tried to take a picture for you the best I could.  Here it is:

I really like them.  They were pretty easy and quick to apply.  I also found a coupon out  for $1.00 off Kiss Nail Dress if you’d like to try it yourself.

You can see the different styles of Kiss Nail Dress at: http://kissnaildress.com/ you can also check out the “Where to buy” section to see which stores near you have them.

At a cost of $6.99 (don’t forget to also print out the $1 off coupon above) you can find them at most Walgreens, Rite Aid, and Walmart stores.

***I received a package of Kiss Nail Dress from my first Influenster.com box at no cost. I did not receive any monetary compensation for this post.***

The Lone Ranger first look, in theaters May 2013

I know it seems a long way off but I was given info on the first look of a new movie coming out next year.

The Lone Ranger produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Gore Verbinksi from Disney/Bruckheimer Films is projected to be in theaters May 2013.  The Lone Ranger will star Johnny Depp as Tonto who is a spirit warrior on a personal quest and joins forces in a fight for justice with John Reid played by Armie Hammer, a law man who has become a masked avenger.

Mediterranean Snacks, a healthier way to snack: Review and Giveaway

Mediterranean Snacks was founded in 2005. Their mission?  “Innovation To produce great tasting, nutritionally superior snacks”

Their snacks use the superfood powers of lentils along with whole grains and legumes to make a very tasty and uniquely healthy snack.  Using only high quality ingredients that are gluten free and non-GMO they are great for a variety of healthy snackers.

Even though they’re healthy, they never want to lose site of the great taste of the snacks.

I received 3 different flavors of the Baked Lentil chips and 2 different flavors of the their Wingers snacks.  I had actually bought the Parmesan Garlic Baked Lentil Chips prior to this review.  The texture and flavor of chips are amazing and taste like nothing I’ve ever tasted before.

The lentil chips have only 110 calories per serving.  I know what you’re thinking “but yea how big of a serving?”  22 chips is considered a serving!  So you can snack without much guilt and get a satisfying portion  That’s not all, the baked lentil chips have 70% less fat than regular potato chips.  They contain 3 g of fiber, 4 g of protein, and 10% iron and 6% Calcium per serving.  They contain no trans fats, they’re all natural and gluten free, vegetarian and celiac friendly.  They are also made in the US.

All the Lentil chip flavors were amazing.  We received Sea Salt, Cucumber Dill, and Parmesan Garlic.  Our favorite was probably the good old Sea Salt flavor of the Lentil chips.  With a family of 5 those were gone within the first day.  That’s right, even my kids loved them.

Here is a picture of my oldest son enjoying the sea salt Lentil chips.

Then of course there are the Wingers snacks.  We receive the Wingers snacks in the flavors “No Bull Barbecue” and “Fiery Buffalo Bleu”.  They also come in “Hone Mustard Horsepower”, “Nacho Chilichanga”, and “Caribbean Zing”.

My husband dove right into the Fiery Buffalo Bleu flavor, as I knew he would.  These cool snacks are shaped something like small, buffalo wings.  The Buffalo Bleu flavor had a “heat index” of 5.  Meaning they were the spiciest flavor in the line up.  You could definitely feel the bite. I’d liken it to, if you ever ordered medium heat buffalo wings.  The No Bull Barbecue had a heat index of 1.  In other words, they were not spicy at all.  The flavor reminded me something of a barbecue flavor potato chip.  The light crispiness of the Winger and he texture made sure you realized it wasn’t a plain potato chip.

Only 125 calories in 1 serving.  Again a hearty serving size of 25 Wingers are included in your portion.  Only 4 g of fat with no trans fats.  Made with all natural ingredients and 60% less fat than a regular potato chip.

Numi organic teas review: Shoplet.com

While most teas are made with tea dust, oils and artificial flavors, Numi Tea is real organic tea using real herbs, spices, fruits, and whole leaves from all over the world.

Numi Teas are an environmentally responsible company.  The Numi boxes are made of at least 85% post consumer waste.  The gift boxes are made with bamboo which is a renewable resource.  Also, the tea bags are made from natural filter paper that are biodegradable.  I think it’s amazing that a company is willing to make such eco-friendly choices with their products!

Beside the fact that they are environmentally responsible they also use fair labor and fair trade practices.  The workers that supply the tea ingredients are taken care of from fair pay, healthcare, housing, to education.  I think this is something that some people take for granted.
I received a sampler box of 8 different flavors of Numi Teas from Shoplet.com.  Shoplet.com offers a variety of office supplies to fit your needs.
The sample box includes the following flavors all organic and Fair Trade:
–Aged Earl Grey–Assam Black Tea scented with organic Italian Bergamot fruit
–Berry Black–includes a mix of black tea, spices, strawberries, raspberries, and raspberry leaf
–Breakfast Blend–which includes a Fair Trade Certified blend of black teas
–Gunpowder Green–which is organic hand-rolled gunpowder green tea
–Jasmine Green–Green Teas scented with organic Jasmine flower
–White Orange Spice–a blend of spices, orange peel, white tea, schizandra Berries and dried lime
–Moroccan Mint–organic Moroccan mint
–Chamomile Lemon–Lemon Myrle and whole chamomile flowers
The first one I just had to try was the Numi Gunpowder Green tea.  I had heard about how good green teas are for you.  I’ve had some green teas that tasted way to floral for me and I didn’t care for them.  I could smell the light scent of the green tea when I pulled it from it’s individual pouch (made from 72% recycled content by the way).  I let my Gunpowder Green tea steep for 3 min.  Even if I didn’t tell you what flavor this was, I bet you’d be able to guess:
The picture doesn’t justify the color.  It has a beautiful earthy green and yellow color to it.  The flavor was wonderful.  Not perfumish like some that I’ve tried.  It was very pleasant and easy to drink and enjoy.  The scent from the cup was very relaxing.
The next flavor I tried was the Numi Orange Spice tea.  As soon as I pulled it out of it’s pouch I could smell, what to me smelled like clove and perhaps cinnamon.  A light hint of orange in the mix made me feel this one would be very promising as well.  Again steeping the it for 3 min in hot water, the color of the teas are amazing:
If that’s not the color of an orange spice flavor, I don’t know what is.  I’ve tried some orange spice teas that were overwhelmed with spices and you really couldn’t taste any of the orange or other flavors.  With the Numi Orange Spice you could taste the spice almost as soon as it hit your tongue then it sort of mellows and you can taste the orange and even a little hint of the lime in the tea.
The 3rd tea from the box that I decided to review for this post is ….well I though it would be more fun to show you the picture first and see if you can guess from the list above.

Did you guess it right?  If you guessed Numi Chamomile Lemon then you are absolutely right.  You could smell the lemon very well both in the tea bag and in the cup.  It also had a slightly floral scent to it.  Of the three I tried this was probably my least favorite.  Not because it wasn’t flavorful or anything but because it had a slight floral taste to it.  If you are normally a Chamomile lover though, you’ll love this tea.
In all of the teas you could see the full dried tea leaves and fruits in the bag.  I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a tea that looked so authentic.
You can purchase Numi teas at Shoplet.com.  Also, if you’ve never made a purchase before you can get 10% off your first order by shopping through his Shoplet.com badge:
