TTC shared an interesting statistic with me which I didn’t know.  The National Infertility Association conducted a poll amongst 1000 women age 25-35.  It showed the most women overestimate their ability to conceive in their 30s and 40s.  Most women responded that women in their 30s have a 70% chance of conceiving and a women in her 40s had a 60% chance of conceiving.  In actuality, a healthy 30 year old has only a 20% chance of conceiving naturally each month while a 40 year old has only a 5 percent chance of conceiving naturally each month.  I had no idea.

FrugalDad.com is a blog that was founded in 2007.  It’s a dad who writes about frugal living and smarter use of your money.    His experience being his own financial missteps and achievements as well as working the phones for credit card companies.  You can find useful tips an information on a number of financial areas. There is also a gentle reminder about how coupons don’t always save you money.  I know you’re thinking “huh”?  But he raises a valid point about buying something just because you get a good deal but you may not really need it or need that much.  Hey I’m guilty of it sometimes I’ll admit it.  Kind of makes me reflect on my own financial choices.

As a mom who has also seen her ups and downs financially.  I’ve had to learn my lessons that hard way.  If nothing else I’ve become stronger and wiser as far as financial decisions.  I’ve brought my credit score up and my debt down. I make smarter decisions when shopping.  That’s not to say that I can’t still learn more and get even better at it.  I think FrugalDad.com could help me with my financial goals.
