I think Gorton’s Fish and Seafood products are pretty tasty. Ā I’ve always loved their potato crunch fish fillets and popcorn shrimp. Ā My kids love their fish sticks too. Ā Gorton’s has reinvented their fish sticks and fish fillets. Ā Kind of a fish 2.0 if you will, with the new Smart & Crunchy options.
These new products are 100% Wild- Caught Alaska Pollock, have 50% less fat than regular fish sticks, and have less calories. Ā My question is, would the kids notice the difference and would they eat them? Ā I got the fish sticks and made them up. Ā I didn’t tell them any of the details. Ā My youngest son loves to help. Ā He’s at a stage where he can recognize sight words and get a few others he sees but I didn’t think he’d really know what the package said.
We had a nice family dinner together with Gorton’s Smart & Cruncy fish sticks. Ā The kids told me they really them. Ā My middle son told me he thinks they’re even better than the regular fish sticks we normally have. Ā If I’m to be honest, I’m not normally a big fish stick fan. Ā I’ll eat them but don’t normally “enjoy” them. Ā These once actually did enjoy. Ā They had a good flavor and crunchy just as the name suggests. Ā I was thinking they might be really good chopped up and sprinkled into a salad too.
My little ones always seem to eat better when we all eat together. Ā How do you do dinner?
