Garden Botanika skincare review and giveaway

In 1989, Garden Botanika was started.  Their mission was to create botanical based products that are a careful blend of science and nature, would be cruelty-free, and gentle to the environment.  Their mission still holds true today.

I had the opportunity to try Garden Botanika’s best selling Daily 1-2-3 skincare and their bestseller Age Reverse Night Recovery cream.

As you can see in the picture their products are free of artificial dyes.  What you can’t see is that they are also free of parabens, gluten, glycols, phythalates, SLS, and are vegan.

I tried the Daily 1-2-3 skincare of normal to combination skin.  The 1-2-3 skincare consists of a cleanser, tonic, and moisturizer.  I received the Balancing Gel cleanser.  This products had a natural scent.  You could smell the orange oil in the product.  It also uses algae extract to remove impurities in the skin. You can see this pictured on the far right in the pic above.

Step 2 for normal to combination skin is the Balancing Neutralizing Tonic.  This one again uses orange oil which is evident in the pleasant scent.  It also uses walnut seed and echinacea extract to protect skin and panthenol and aloe to comfort.  This is pictured on the far left in the pic above.

Step 3 for normal to combination is Balancing Daily Moisturizer.  This product comes in a glass pump bottle.  The moisturize itself is very light and absorbs into the skin right away.  Botanical ingredient in this product include: Orange oil, Echinacea Root extract, green tea, acai berry, glycerin, and panthenol.

The 3 step combo was gentle on my skin.  My skin didn’t feel weighed down or irritated in any way after using these products.

The last product I tried was the Age Reverse Night Recovery Cream.  Again this came in a glass pump bottle.  This product was also very light and is meant to be applied at night.  It was gentle on my skin. It is supposed to help minimize age spots and sun damage and make your skin appear smoother and more radiant.  Honestly, because I’m pregnant I’ve been having a bit of a pregnancy glow anyway so not sure if this product added to that.  After a few nights I felt like my skin was a little more taut.

Garden Botanika does not just offer these products though.  They also offer cosmetics, fragrances, bath products, and more.  As a fun savings find, every Tuesday they have what they call Super Tuesday Savings.  They offer one customer favorite 50% on Tuesdays.

These were great safe and effective products to use.  I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a natural, cruelty-free skincare routine. Garden Botanika only ships to the US and Canada.
