I’ve posted about it before but thought I’d share since it’s time for holiday shopping once again. As some of you might know Amazon Prime gives you free 2 day shipping on most items. They also give discount on some items for Prime Members. If you sign up for Amazon Mom there are a number of benefits. First, Amazon Mom in itself is free and you get 20% discounts on diaper and wipes purchases as well as “family essentials”  There will also sometimes be coupons for you to use and special deals for Amazon Mom members.  Now, when you sign up for Amazon Mom you also get 3 FREE months of Amazon Prime.  Yes there’s a catch, you’ll have to make sure you cancel you Amazon Mom membership before your 3 months is up or you’ll have to pay the $79 for Amazon Prime, unless of course you want to keep Amazon Prime (which if you shop Amazon a lot ends up being a good deal).

I bought so many things for Christmas already from Amazon and haven’t had to pay shipping and got the discounted prices.  Also note that it does say if you’ve taken advantage of this deal before you may not be eligible for the 3 free months so keep that in mind.

When I signed up for Amazon Mom they also gave me a $25 coupon to use towards my first qualified purchase of diapers which was a really nice discount. They also send you emails with special deals and discounts as well.

Regular Amazon price is $129.99 but Amazon Prime members get it for $118.74  That’s a savings of $11.25 (9%) .  I know it doesn’t seem like that much but considering my son is a LEGO fanatic and it’s rare to see LEGO on sale, I’ll take whatever discount I can get.

This one is huge savings. My youngest son want this Sonic Generations game for the Xbox 360.  Regular Amazon price is $49.95 but Amazon Prime member pay $17.45!! Seriously
