June is always a busy month for my family. We have my youngest son’s birthday, my oldest son’s birthday, my niece’s birthday, father’s day, my brother-in-law’s birthday, and this year it’s been especially busy.

On top of all the normal stuff my oldest son also graduated high school. With the COVID-19 isolation, they initially had a social distancing graduation which actually ended up being really nice. But now they’ve decided to go ahead and do a traditional graduation and prom too!

To top that off we’re leaving for vacation the end of this week and I’m trying to get ready for that. I’m not gonna hide it, I was actually appreciative of the break for a couple months. It was nice to not have to figure out how to get 4 kids to 4 different places for jobs, sports, practices, school events, etc. I’m not grateful for the reason it happened but I guess I just tried to pull some of the positives out of it.

It might now seem like much but when you consider I’ve been trying since September to lose some weight and had only lost 10 lbs in 8 months, I’ll take it!

I love the Cardiokickboxing classes on Thursdays. So much fun and the instructor Amy is so fun and full of energy. They also offer classes like Dancefit, yoga, HIIT training, Bootcamp (which I take on Tuesdays) and more. You can sign up for a single class or buy a monthly or yearly package. Even with my busy schedule, working outside the house still (I’m a healthcare worker) and 4 kids I can always find a time that works for me. Single classes are only $3 or you can get unlimited monthly classes for $40, or yearly plans that make it only $25/mo for unlimited classes!
