Free Carseat Inspections Statewide in Pennsylvania

**This info came from an email I received from Rep. Frank Burns, I did NOT receive any compensation for this post**

For the next two weeks, starting today, Pennsylvania state police will be offering free car seat inspections as part of their campaign to save lives on roadways.

Did you know that traffic crashes are the number one cause of death in children under 15 yr old and in many cases is because a child was not properly restrained. Pennsylvania state law requires children under the age of 4 to ride in an approved carseat. Children 4-7 must ride in a booster seat.

For my area a child safety seat checkpoint will be at:

3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23 at the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Ebensburg, 100 Casale St.

You can find additional info for for car seat checks, laws, etc in Pennsylvania on the Pa House of Representatives site.

A Place for Small Business and Bloggers to meet, Sverve

**This post does contain affiliate links, regardless I only post legitimate offers from trusted sites**

It can be hard for a small business to find the right bloggers to help them. For bloggers, it might feel hard to let small business know you’re out there and what you do. Sverve gives small business and bloggers a place to network and discover each other. For bloggers, it’s a great way to discover other bloggers and promote your posts as well.

On the the site is campaigns where small businesses post jobs for bloggers. Bloggers can apply and if the business feels your blog is a fit they’ll let you know. I have personally done a few campaigns through Sverve and I’ve had a great experience. If you set up your account with your info Sverve will also let you know when there is a campaign that’s interested in working with you.

Another great feature about Sverve is that you can add your own posts and they show up for those that follow you on the site. When they click your addition they’ll be taken to your post to read. You can discover other favorite bloggers this way as well as get more word out about your own posts. You can follow other bloggers and “endorse” them for their skills. Which also makes Sverve a great place to discover and network.

Signing up for Sverve is free and easy, you can sign up for Sverve HERE or by clicking the banner in this post.

If you’d like to see an example of one of my Sverve posts, I have several but this is just one I’ve worked with: http://angiewith2.blogspot.com/2013/05/new-york-theres-fun-website-for-you-to.html
