This is one movie I’m looking forward to seeing with my family this summer.  My 3 yr old LOVES Disney and Pixar’s CARS and to tell you the truth I love it too.  I think the CARS movies are sooo cute.  I’m hoping PLANES will be the same way.  Knowing Disney though, I’m sure it will be.

Disney PLANES is due to be released August 9, 2013.  In typical Disney movie style they have a huge star line up for voice talents like Val Kilmer, Cedric the Entertainer, Juila Louis-Dreyfus, Dane Cook, Sinbad, and many more.

Here is a brief synopsis :

From above the world of “Cars” comes “Disney’s Planes,” an action-packed 3D animated comedy adventure featuring Dusty (voice of Dane Cook), a plane with dreams of competing as a high-flying air racer. But Dusty’s not exactly built for racing—and he happens to be afraid of heights. So he turns to a seasoned naval aviator who helps Dusty qualify to take on the defending champ of the race circuit. Dusty’s courage is put to the ultimate test as he aims to reach heights he never dreamed possible, giving a spellbound world the inspiration to soar. “Disney’s Planes” takes off in theaters on Aug. 9, 2013.

I’m always looking for way to improve my blog.  I do take feedback from my readers as well. I’ve read a number of times about the benefits of using WordPress.org and self-hosting my blog.  I’ve thought about it many times and weighed the pros and cons of blogger and wordpress self-hosting.

I’m quite comfortable with using blogger and feel I can do just about anything requested of me with a little research if necessary.  The fact that it’s free is definitely appealing too.  The things that scare me though is the fact that I don’t “own” my blog.  If blogger decides one day that they don’t like something on my blog, poof it’s gone.  4 years of putting my love into my blog would be gone.  The other thing is there are some companies that just aren’t interested in working with you unless your self hosted.

I’m a bit nervous though with so many things like: What if some things won’t transfer over?  I’ve heard that your page rank and alexa rank goes down when you transfer and I’ve worked hard to try and build it up.  I’m gonna have to learn a whole new platform and leave my comfort zone.

In the end I know it’s the right choice if I want to build my blog even more.  I’m just hoping for some words of reassurance from those that have made the jump.

Car seat canopies are great for any time of the year.  In the spring and summer it helps keep the sun’s harmful rays off your baby and keep the bugs out, In the winter it’s nice to keep some of the winter cold off your baby.  It’s also good from blocking some wind from baby.  You can get a free car seat canopy, just pay shipping by clicking the banner below and using code “MYSAVINGS”.  I have done these before and they are legit.  I got a nursing cover this way before. Also the code “MYSAVINGS” can be applied to their “whole kaboodle” kit which has a car seat canopy, visor, car seat cover and changing pad, it’s normally $125 but the code brings it down to $29.95.

Snapily.com has their custom iPhone cases and magnets buy one get one free with code: BOGO.  I’ve personally bought some of the products and I’m really happy with the way they turned out.  I took advantage of one of their deals around valentines day and got animated Valentine’s cards made up of the kids and sent it to all the grandparents.  They really enjoyed them.

Snapily.com has 3d and animated images for iPhone cases, magnets, cards, ornaments, book marks, and more.  I highly recommend them for a truly unique picture gift.

Oh my goodness, for us frugal folks, I think this is an awesome idea.  AwardWallet lets you keep track of all your reward card balances and expiration dates all in one place.  I think this is a genius idea. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve missed out on getting a discount or forgetting about a balance on a rewards account, then when I remember it’s expired.
