Why have I never heard of this? This place is only about an hour’s drive from my house and I’ve never heard of it!! My boys would have such a blast here.
Fun Slides Skatepark & Party Center www.FunSlidesPark.com in Greensburg, PA offers super cool unique birthday party and family fun!
For years, kids all over the country have asked us to create a really cool space where they can use our Fun Slides Carpet Skates on ramps, jumps and grind rails… and our 12,000 sq. ft Fun Slides Carpet Skatepark is it! (the blacklight atmosphere just makes it even more cool!)A safer yet thrilling alternative to skate boarding, inline and ice skating, carpet skating is fun for all ages (typically age 4 and up). Unlike other sports that take lots of practice, carpet skating takes only minutes until you are confidently sliding around.
You will be the coolest parent when you come with your kids to Fun Slides Park! Sure you could just sign their waiver and drop them off but maybe you’d like to stay. Whether you plan to sit in our ‘free WiFi’ viewing lounge and watch or you’re courageous enough to skate too, you will be cool…because you came as a family.
Carpet Skating is safer than most other skating sports because the skating surfaces are carpeted. It takes just minutes to learn and because it is so easy to be taught, it is a terrific confidence builder. We have witnessed over and over the most awkward of kids feel like an accomplished skater in minutes! And it burns lots of calories! You might appreciate the exercise value but your kids just love to slide and grind…in a safer, softer alternative to ice or concrete.
Yes carpet skating can get extreme but you can also simply walk while wearing Fun Slides…you only slide if you want to. The ‘gripper grooves’ on the bottom provide traction so you can actually run wearing them. Don’t worry, we’re happy to give lessons…each new skater is assigned a skate instructor to work with them until they feel comfortable to skate on their own.
Check out this video. Does this not look like the coolest thing ever? Especially when you get cabin fever over the winter. Great place for the kids to use up some energy and safer too:
