It’s summer, time for cook outs, outdoor get-togethers, and summer holidays. For the adults Daily’s has a cool summer drink selection that will make your job as a hostess pretty easy but also make a good impression. How about serving your adult guests frozen Pina Coladas, Bahama Mamas, Light Strawberry Margaritas, and more. It’s easier than you might think.
Daily’s Frozen Pouches come in an assortment of flavors including light varieties. Each pouch is single serve and already contains the alcohol. No mixing, no measuring, no bartending knowledge needed. You just pick up a few of these pouches, stick them in the freezer and pull them out when you’re ready to serve them.
Being in Pennsylvania with the antiquated liquor laws the only place I could get them was at the local state liquor store . For you lucky folks that can walk into a grocery store and pick up things like this they are available at Walmart. Honestly, when I was looking for them I assumed they’d be in a freeze section but they are just on the shelf in the store and you freeze them when you get home.
The pouch says single serve but there is a generous amount in there. I had some margarita glasses and was able fill a margarita glass for both myself and my sister who had stopped by for a birthday party we were having at the house. This one is Pina Colada. It was pretty good, especially since all I had to do was pull it out of the freezer and dump it in a glass. I suppose if you wanted to get all fancy about it you could add garnishes like chunks of pineapple or what-have-you.
My local liquor store did not have the new light and tropical varieties yet but I’d love to try them. The new flavors include:

Blue Hawaiian
Light Varieties
Light Strawberry Margarita

Light Pink Lemonade

Then of course there are the classic varieties.
I enjoy having an occasional glass of wine or mixed drink. My favorite time is after the kids go to bed in the summer when it’s still warm out and I can sit on my front porch and just relax. It’s become a thing every summer for my husband and I to sit out there together with a drink and just talk, reminisce, and plan for the future. It’s great quality time for us.
