Unsplurge A New Way To Save

We all need to save money for something. Maybe you’re trying to bill your cushion in your savings account. Perhaps you’re saving for a nice down payment on a car or house. Maybe it’s just that pair of shoes you’ve been eyeing up.

Well you can have that plus keep track of what you have saved and get support from others that are trying to do the same thing with the Unsplurge app.

Unsplurge is a free app for your iphone or ipad. Download the app, register, and set a goal. You can actually set more than one goal if you like. Take a picture of that new bike you want and it will show up in your goals for motivation. You can also see your progress of how much you saved.

I decided to set my goal for holiday shopping. Hey it could be whatever you want. Me, I refuse to use credit cards for holiday shopping. I put a number in my head I think I’m going to need to be able to get nice gifts for all the kids, hubby, and my dad and go from there.

The app was really easy to use and set up. I liked that you can choose other people to support and give them words of encouragement and like their goals. It’s kind of interesting to see what others are saving for too. Everything from weddings and houses to a dinner out at a restaurant. No goal is too big or too small!

If you have friends using splurge, you can add them too or invite your friends from facebook and encourage each other.

I think this app is a great idea. I need all the motivation I can get.

Renuzit Adjustable Cones New Design

I like having fragrances in my house. Maybe a nice bakery scent in my kitchen, a fresh clean scent in the bedroom, maybe a nice vanilla scent in the boys room. I like candles but with a 4 yr old and a baby it’s not the safest decision. Plug-in scents are ok too but when baby gets more mobile I’ll have to worry about that too. There were so many scents to choose from. I ended up choosing the scent, Autumn Woods. I figured it would be perfect for fall. I put that one in my bedroom. They still had some of the old style cones on the shelf. I really wanted this scent and my local Walmart didn’t have it in the new style.

Another thing to love about these cones is the scent isn’t super strong. Depending on the situation I like a strong scent but in the bedroom I like just a hint. Sometimes overwhelming scents can give me a headache. These give just the right amount of scent. You know it’s there but it’s not screaming it.

My boys fought over which ones to put in their rooms of the scent samples I received. The older boys ended up choosing the Tahitian Breeze and my youngest son chose the Hawaiian Oasis. All of the sample I received and the one I got for free with the coupon all had a beautiful scent.

No flames, no plugging in, no overwhelming scent, economical, lots of scents to choose from, not messy, These little cones have it all!
