I tried the HALO SleepSack Big Kids with my 3 yr old son. HALO SleepSack Big Kids comes in a 2T/3T size and a 4T/5T size. I got the 4T/5T for my son. They also come in with different embroidered designs on them. The one I received has a truck on it.

This is my little cutie in his HALO SleepSack Big Kids. My son is currently in a size 4T but not for long. This SleepSack gives him a little room to grow.

It’s not uncommon for me to walk into his room in the morning and see his covers on the floor and him all curled up in bed. I liked the idea of the HALO SleepSack Big Kids in that sense because I’m sure he’ll be warm. The only downfall I can see to this is that kids that are potty trained are gonna need some help in and out of this. The zipper actually connects at the top and zips “up” by pulling the zipper down towards the feet, if that makes sense.

I woke up this morning to this surprise at my feet this morning.

No covers on himself, just sleeping at the foot of my bed. I’m glad he had on the HALO SleepSack Big Kids.

Besides the obvious safety benefits some of the other pros I found;

I just had my baby daughter almost 1 month ago. I’m so excited to have my first daughter having 3 boys. Don’t get me wrong I love my boys so much but it’s fun to buy pink and dresses for a change. With so many exciting things surrounding her birth the one less than exciting thing, is the few pounds that kinda wanna hangout with me for a while. With each of my children I put on a few pounds after. I think back to when my tummy was flat and I was able to go to the gym or do my workouts in the house whenever I wanted to. Those days are gone but I try to squeeze in some exercises when I can.

Another motivation for me this time is the fact that my sister is getting married in July and I’m her Matron of Honor. I got my dress for her wedding in October. It was lightly big up top and fit just right everywhere else. Then again i was also 4 months pregnant and just getting my bump. I tried the dress on the other day and the top pretty much fits but I just barely got into the dress. Not happy about that. I refuse to have it altered to make it bigger so that means this momma has to lose a couple pounds.

Lunaling contacted me about 3 weeks ago and asked me about reviewing their sportswear for women. Yes! Perfect motivation for me to do what I need to do. I have the opportunity to try the Lunaling Capri workout pants.

The Lunaling capris actually cover a good portion of my belly which is great because that’s my biggest problem area right now. I know it doesn’t look like it because these pants actually sort of work like shapewear too in my opinion.

I really wanted to start on this review sooner but being that this pants are meant to fit snug and hold in the heat it was rather uncomfortable after having my baby and with my tubal incision. It’s only been within the last week or so that I thought I could actually put forth an honest effort to workout in these pants. Now that I’m healed up, the pants are rather comfortable.

Lunaling was tested at a top UK university’s physiology laboratory. They found the Lunaling sportswear increases energy expenditure during a workout by 6% and in the hour following it increased energy expenditure by 26%. During a 30 minute workout, weight loss is 4X great in Lunaling than a regular workout garment. Lunaling also increases your core body temp by an average of 18% which can lead to an increase in your metabolism.

I’m going to be trying these out for the next 7 days and see what kind of results I get.

When I knew I had the opportunity to review this product I new exactly what I was going to do with it. The end of last year our roof started leaking. The water had come down through our dining room ceiling as well as the bathroom ceiling. Our house is nearly 100 years old. The bathroom has no vent system at all. Long story short the moisture and lack of ventilation led to mold starting to grow. We’ve since got our roof fixed but the mold continued to be an issue. We’re now in the process of doing a remodel of the bathroom including adding a ventilation system and moisture resistant walls. I thought I’d take the chance to kill some of the mold during the remodeling process just to see if this stuff worked.

This is just one spot on the wall above the shower head. Gross I know but we’re taking care of it. Thought I’d zap some of this stuff though before it was ripped out.

Worked pretty good, no? I Think so. The gel sprayed out clear. It only took a few sprays and a little bit of elbow grease to get that mold off the wall.

I’m 1 month post baby #4. It’s only been in the last week or so that I’ve felt like I could really start getting into some type of routine to try to lose some of the baby weight. For me it’s always difficult to find a healthy balance. I want to watch what I eat bu I have to eat enough and eat healthy enough for my baby because I’m nursing. I do have to say that there was a down side to these bars. I almost hate to say it but I’m about being truthful, the day of and half of the next day I was very gassy. The baby was too. My poor baby girl was screaming most of the day and kept releasing gas. It was a long day for momma. I couldn’t figure out why we were both in that situation. I was trying to think of everything I ate. Nothing different or out of the ordinary other than the protein bar. Admittedly I was hesitant to eat another one but I ate about half of one of the bars rather than the whole bar and I did have some issues again. I have some kind of stomach issues anyway. I’ve been to the doctor several times about it and they really don’t know what it is and keep telling me to try different things so it doesn’t take much to throw my body out of wack. So there you go, that was the negative for me of these bars.
