I remember a few years ago first hearing about the HALO SleepSacks and I thought they were a great idea. A safer way to keep your baby warm without blankets and things that could cover you little one’s face or for them to get tangled up in.
Now you can transition your little one into HALO SleepSack Early Walker and then HALO SleepSack Big Kids.
HALO SleepSack Early Walker |
HALO SleepSacks are the original light weight wearable blanket for a safer sleep for your little ones while still keeping them warm. HALO SleepSack Early Walker and Big Kids have foot opening so your little one can still get around but has the same warmth and safety of the original SleepSack. Wear this over their pajamas and they’re good to go for the night.
Here’s some info provided by HALO:
I tried the HALO SleepSack Big Kids with my 3 yr old son. HALO SleepSack Big Kids comes in a 2T/3T size and a 4T/5T size. I got the 4T/5T for my son. They also come in with different embroidered designs on them. The one I received has a truck on it.
This is my little cutie in his HALO SleepSack Big Kids. My son is currently in a size 4T but not for long. This SleepSack gives him a little room to grow.
It’s not uncommon for me to walk into his room in the morning and see his covers on the floor and him all curled up in bed. I liked the idea of the HALO SleepSack Big Kids in that sense because I’m sure he’ll be warm. The only downfall I can see to this is that kids that are potty trained are gonna need some help in and out of this. The zipper actually connects at the top and zips “up” by pulling the zipper down towards the feet, if that makes sense.
I woke up this morning to this surprise at my feet this morning.
No covers on himself, just sleeping at the foot of my bed. I’m glad he had on the HALO SleepSack Big Kids.
Besides the obvious safety benefits some of the other pros I found;
–machine washable
–a portion of every sale is donated to First Candle/SIDS Alliance which I think is awesome
–available in different sizes and for boys or girls
–comfortable material
