Couponing has becoming pretty popular. There are entire tv shows, blogs, websites, and classes dedicated just to couponing. Maybe you know someone who is an avid couponer. Perhaps you’ve been interested in couponing and want the right tools to get started. I started couponing seriously about 2 years ago. I still don’t do it to the extent of the extreme couponers but I use coupons as much as possible. After taking an online coupon class and reading a coupon book, I decided it was time to make up my coupon binder. I used what I had and purchased some coupon pockets. You can see my binder has received some love.
I kept thinking I needed a better binder but the frugalista I am, I kept putting it off thinking, it’s good enough. Then I came across the coupon organizers that are offered by UltraPro. They are much sturdier than my put together binder and come with the clear coupon pocket pages. They also have several different sizes depending on what you want it for. They come in different designs too so you can find one that fits your style. There are smaller ones you can stuff into a purse and large ones for the avid couponer.
Besides the fact that it was sturdy and more stylish than my old coupon binder, the large 3 ring one came with 40 coupon pocket sheets with different size pockets.
• Organizer includes 40 total pages with 235 pockets:
10 each – 9 pocket pages (pocket size – 2 ½” x 3 ½”)
10 each – 8 pocket pages (pocket size – 3 ⅞” x 2 ¾”)
10 each – 3 pocket pages (pocket size – 7 ⅞” x 3 ⅝”)
5 each – 6 pocket pages (pocket size – 2 ½” x 5 ¼”)
5 each – 1 pocket pages (pocket size – 8 ½” x 11”)
This one expands and can hold up to 80 pages!
The small one (that can fit in a purse) comes with sheets with a total of 180 pockets to use. The 4 pocket coupon organizer portfolio comes with 20 clear coupon pocket sheets.
All of them have pockets on the inside of the front and back of the binder and comes with a coupon terminology sheets so you can learn the coupon lingo and abbreviations which I found especially handy. As a couponer myself the only things missing when you buy these would be tabbed page dividers which you’ll want to divide your coupons up into sections. Tabbed dividers are usually pretty cheap and you can divide your coupon sections up however you want. For me I have sections like: Dairy, Baby, cleaning supplies, etc. I also keep a zipper pouch for 3 ring binders in mine that I keep grocery lists, scissors, and pens in. Still the larges one is only $19.99, the smaller 4 pocket organizer is only $6.99, and medium size 9 pocket organizer is only $10.99
