Back in July I did a review on the Mustachifier. It’s a cute pacifier with an attached mustache for a super cute look for your baby. There are three different styles of the Mustachifier, The Gentleman, The Ladies’ Man, and The Cowboy. They are designed to be 100% safe. The mustache can not be detached from the pacifier so you don’t have to worry about baby pulling it off.
It’s seems to be geared more towards boys (understandably) but I didn’t care, I used it on my daughter anyway and I still t hought it was cute. We always get laughs and “oh my goodness look at that isn’t that cute!” We still use it as a matter of fact.
She doesn’t seem to mind the mustache on there. The pacifier is a good quality construction too. No cheapo pacifier. We’ve had it for a few months not and it still looks like it did when we got it even though she uses it at least a few times a week.
The Mustachifier would make a cute, fun, and unique gift for a baby this holiday. This would also be a great stocking stuffer for your own baby. Imagine Christmas pictures with a mustachifier and a little baby suit on, that would be so cute!
**I received the below mentioned product at no cost in order to complete an honest review. Any opinions expressed are my own. This post also contains an amazon affiliate link**
As a mom of 4, I love to preserve things from my kids. I have seasonal artwork they do that I keep and use for decorations. I have pictures, crib cards, lots of stuff like that. I love having their little handprints and footprints to keep. They grow up so fast. It’s nice to look back and see how tiny they were and how much they grew.
I had the opportunity to try the Baby Safe Ink Print Kit that is sold exclusively on Amazon right now. At $12.50 this kit comes with some non-toxic , latex free ink sheets. The ink states it easily wipes off with provided baby wipes or any baby wipes. Here is everything that came with the kit I received:
It included instructions for use, 4 ink print sheets, 4 plain white pieces of card stock type paper, 2 baby wipes, and of course instructions for use. My first issues was the ink print sheets. they were a thin film, even with someone holding onto my daughter she kept curling her toes up. Trying to get the paper to cover all the areas of her toes and foot was difficult. I ended up pressing her foot on the paper then taking the paper and holding it on the few places that were missed. I’ve had better luck with a traditional ink pad as there’s usually a spongy surface and you can press down a little and get more it seems. The paper is acid free archival quality cardstock. The ink did transfer well onto the paper. I ended up using both the baby wipes that came with the kit to try to get the ink off my daughter’s feet. I still didn’t get it all off and ended up using some of our baby wipes as well.
This was her foot after stamping it with a fresh ink sheet and trying to work it into other areas. I had some trouble getting all her toes. Also the kit recommends having two people to do this. If it’s possible I definitely recommend two people. I tried it by myself the first time. I ended up with ink on my pants, ink in her pants, ink on my hands, and the ink got smeared on the paper. When I had my oldest son better the results were much better.
My other children wanted to get in on it too so I let them try. My 4 yr old did hand prints and my oldest wanted to do finger prints.
The ink dried quickly. I think these will be nice to keep in a picture frame or scrapbook for them.
So lets break it down, Pros and Cons:
Pro:
Everything you need in one kit for printing
Safe ink and paper for baby and for lasting results
Cleans off with baby wipes
Cons:
ink sheets were hard to use correctly especially with the baby curling her toes and wiggling. In my opinion a stamp pad would be better
Kit says you can get 6-10 prints out of it. I’m guessing they count one hand as one print and the 2nd hand as another and so on. Only 4 sheets included so if you wanted more you’d need to get more sheets.
Took more than just the 2 wipes in the kit to get one printing sessions worth of ink off my baby’s feet and ended up using my own anyway.
So this one is 50/50 I’m giving it a lukewarm review. If you want to give it a try for yourself, you can find the Baby Safe Ink Printing Kit on Amazon only:
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
As you know I’m now a proud momma of a baby girl. 4 kids now but my first baby girl. It’s definitely a new world for me. Wondering into the world of pink, glitter, hair accessories, dresses, and so on. I’m enjoying the opportunity to dress my little girl up. I dressed her up for Easter and had such fun.
One thing I have to wonder, while some dresses and outfits are cute, I worry if it’s actually comfortable for my baby. Shabby Apple has a cute selection of Little Girls Dresses from Shabby Apple as well as for baby. I couldn’t wait for my first opportunity to review a Shabby Apple baby dress. So I didn’t lol.
I chose to review the adorable 45 words per minute dress in the Kids category. The dress is available in Apple Green, Fuchsia, and Turquoise but of course I went straight for the pink (fuchsia). They had it available in newborn size which was perfect. It’s cute, soft, and looks so comfortable for my baby.
Hee Hee, I couldn’t help myself. I accessorized the dress with a matching flower headband that was soft and not tight on my baby’s head…comfort remember but still cute. She’s only a week old today and the dress fit her well. Tried to get a full pic of her but she still likes to curl up at this point.
The dress is made up of a poly/rayon/spandex jersey fabric which is soft and breathable. This dress is also what Shabby Apple calls an “Apple Seed Dress” which means they have a matching dress for mom. Totally missed that part or I definitely would have got the matching dress for myself. The matching dress for mom is called “90 Words per Minute”, cute idea huh? Though I’m having trouble finding it on their site so it’s possible they are out of it.
***I received the above pictured dress at no cost as part of the Shabby Apple Blogger PR program. No other compensation was received. This post does contain affiliate links***

Here I am at 37 weeks and 6 days. Starting to get kind of antsy because none of my kids ever made it to their due date. My first 2 were born at 38 weeks and my 3rd at 38.5 weeks. I’ve had a few days with contractions. The one day I went to the hospital. I was 36 weeks. They gave me a shot to stop the contractions because it was too early. Turned out I had a UTI that started contractions so they treated me for that. Friday I had some more but they told me when it happens just to drink lots of fluids and lay down for a while. That proved to work that day.
I’m getting excited and ready to meet our daughter. It’s our first and only girl so even though she’s our 4th it’s like a new experience for us. We have everything pretty much ready to go here except a couple small odds and ends things. I’m still working at the hospital, I mean, if I go into labor that’s where I want to be anyway. I’m anxious to start maternity leave
I guess another reason for me writing this post is, if in the next week or so you don’t see me on here for a few days, you’ll know why. When that happens, I’ll post pics and stuff as soon as possible. Thanks for letting me share and I appreciate you all stopping by!

If you’ve ever used a bulb or battery-type aspirator to clear the mucus out of your little one’s nose, you’ve probably said to yourself: “There has to be a better way!” Well, we just found a better way and it’s called the BabyComfyNose Nasal Aspirator. Here’s the amazing part (or gross part – depending on your perspective) it uses your own suction. And that’s why it’s superior to standard aspirators. Think about it: your own lungs are a really strong and natural vacuum cleaner – much more powerful than a tiny bulb or battery-powered motor. And the result is just a more effective method of clearing your baby’s sinuses.
But have no fear; you won’t suck boogies into your mouth because of the design of the receptacle and the tissue filter that you insert into the body of the aspirator. This is why pediatricians are recommending BabyComfyNose to moms and dads. Recently, Dr. Sears of The Doctors TV Show recommended the BabyComfyNose as the best way to clear babies’ noses. Take a look at the video ‘How to Use the BabyComfyNose’ here www.babycomfynose.com to see how well it works. The folks at BabyComfyNose are also offering a 20%-off coupon. Details herehttp://www.babycomfynose.com/usfamilyguide.
