Brooklyn Bean Variety Pack Review – Luv Saving Money

Brooklyn Bean Variety Pack Review

Please Share

I have a Keurig Mini.  Love it, only thing I don’t like…the cost of some of the K-cups.  I’d love to try new flavors but what if I don’t like them?  I’ll pay the price if I know I like it.  That’s why I’m also hesitant to try brands I haven’t tried before. Brooklyn Beans has the really cool variety pack that has light, medium, and dark roasts that include: Breakfast Blend, Boardwalk Blend, Brooklyn Bridge, Colombian, Cyclone, Donut Shop, Fugheddaboutit and French Roast.

Brooklyn Beans cups

Brooklyn Beans has a 40 count variety pack.  The description said it includes 4 of each of the flavors listed above but mine also included: Vanilla Skyline, Coney Island Caramel, Cinnamon Subway, and Breakfast Blend Decaf that wasn’t listed in the description.  That’s awesome in my book because I do love the flavors! There is something for everyone in this box.  From the mild Breakfast Blend, to decaf, to the bold Fugheddaboutit! you’ll enjoy working your way through this box of Boston themed flavors.  I’m a fan of milder flavors and flavored coffees.  My one son likes coffee too but I usually only allow him decaf.  The first one I had to try was the Maple Sleigh.  I brewed a cup in my Keurig mini.  Oh could you smell the maple.  I couldn’t wait until it was done brewing to take a sip!

I just love me a fresh brewed cup of coffee!  The flavor of the Maple Sleigh was awesome.  I added a little bit of almond milk creamer just because I can’t drink black coffee but you could still taste the maple flavor of the coffee.   The next time I was ready for a cup I went for was the Vanilla Skyline.  Yep another winner.  This one had a milder vanilla flavor than the strength of the maple flavor but still good none-the-less. My son tried the Breakfast blend decaf and he said it was pretty good. Here’s a pic of all the flavors I received.  A lot right?  This would be the perfect variety pack to have on hand if you family coming to visit or stay with you.  As I said, something for everyone!

There’s so many flavors I’m still working my way through them. My father-in-law likes his coffee stronger so I had him try the Fuhgeddaboutit and he said it was pretty good.  Ok now I have to tell you another reason I like this variety pack. Other than the awesome flavors and the taste, a 40 count variety pack from Brooklyn Beans is only $22 on amazon!  Seriously.  I usually see  18-20 counts for that much but you get 40!!!

And if you already know you don’t like the darker roasts or the milder roasts there are variety packs just for you!  You can get a bold or breakfast blends too!  I highly recommend the one I got though.  I’m enjoying trying all the yummy flavors!  I do need to tell you that these aren’t compatible with Keurig 2.0 brewers.

  1. I would really like to try out the Maple Sleigh. There are so many that look delicious though.

  2. I’d definitely like to try the Cinnamon Subway. I’m not a huge fan of flavored coffee but I love Cinnamon and it sounds like a perfect winter flavor!
