Wholesale costume club for any costume needs: review

Wholesalecostumeclub.com had lots of cool costumes. You’re sure to find something fun. Whether it’s for a party, event, halloween, or role play there’s a big selection.

I looked over the . My 2 older boys kept saying, “oh like that one. Can I get that one mommy?” My boys liked the Camo Ninja child costume.  My boys would have everything camo if they could.

Then I ventured over to the .  So adorable.  I couldn’t help but look at the little girl costumes (even though I have 3 boys).  I had my niece in mind for some of them.  I thought how neat it would be to get some of the costumes for my boys or my niece to play dress up in.  Knights, animals, princesses, mermaids, whatever they might imagine. They can even be Elmo if they wanted to.

After several days of going back to Wholesalecostumeclub.com and trying to decide what to get, I finally decided on the . Here’s what my little guy looked like in it:

This costumes was easy to slip on.  It came with a hood and the turtle claw gloves.  I’m thinking I’ll try to put a green turtle neck under it for Halloween this year.  When we tried it on today I only had him in his diaper since it was 81 here today.  The cute little shell is attached and sticks out which I think is a nice touch. It also has plastic eyes that stick out on the top of the hood.   If I have any complaints though it that my son is now just getting into a 2 T.  I ordered this in a Large 2T-4T and it seems to just fit him.

The shipping was super fast on this item.

Hospitopia, have fun while donating to the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals

How many of you love to play the Facebook game apps? You know the games like Farmville, Cafe World, Frontiersville, etc? Yea I’m guilty. I have a few that I like to play. Some of them are pretty addicting.

Well a company called CausePlay created and customized the new Facebook game, Hospitopia specifically for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. 10 % off all gross revenue will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals. When you sign up to play Hospitopia you’ll be asked who you will be playing for.  There’s a drop down box with CMN Hospitals to choose from.  Me, I’m playing for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

In Hospitopia you get to build and grow your own hospital, take care of patients, and play little side games inside the game like the Jumbieland nursery game.

The game is fun and free to play.  As long as you are on Facebook, you can play.  I already started my hospital:  FFCM Hospital (go figure right?).    I’m still learning the ropes but it seems pretty easy so far.  I’ve played 2 of the side games too.  Also watch videos to earn money for your hospital and “miracle points” to buy cool things to customize your hospital

You can also find Hospitopia on twitter: @hospitopia

If you all have ever watched the xtranormal videos on youtube.  Some of them are pretty funny.  Well they did a video for Hospitopia.  Hope you enjoy.

If you all want a neighbor in Hospitopia, just let me know.  See you there.

***I was not compensated in any way for this post.  I completed this post because I’m a supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network and wanted to share this great opportunity to donate with you. ***

Magnets.com a useful and affordable way to advertise

If you have a business of any kind be it, blog, crafts, your own store, a service you provide, you want to advertise it.  I think most of us try to carry business cards around with us.  Sometimes I wonder though what really happens to the business card after the needed info is placed in an address book or saved as a bookmark on someones computer.  I thought I’d like to have some cute magnets made up but I thought I couldn’t afford to do that.

Magnets.com offers lots of custom magnets that can be made into many different shapes, logos, or colors.  From your basic basic magnet to clips, calendars, well there’s a lot of clever ideas to choose from.

I don’t know about you but I love those magnetic plastic clips I get on occasion as a promotion item.  I have one on my front door to hang reminder notes or clip a paper that needs to go with me next time I leave the house.  I have really clever magnets with cooking conversions that I’ve had for years.  I got them for free from a company I ordered something from.  I found them so useful, I keep them around.  Magnets are also an affordable item to offer as a handout when doing PR or public appearances.

sent me a sample pack of some magnets they have done.  I was truly impressed with the quality of the magnets and the creativity behind them.  I took a picture of the ones I received:

Some of them were several pieces so I took them apart just to show you how they were designed.

The one was made like a puzzle.  My toddler is fascinated with magnets at this point in life so I’m sure this will be one he can’t wait to get his hands on.

Sometimes when I receive items to review I don’t always know the price upfront.  I brace myself because if it’s expensive I’m gonna say that.  So I looked over the site and was pleasantly surprised to see the prices on the magnets.  Even the ones that were more dynamic.  For example:  A handy custom kitchen conversion magnet is only 13 cents to 24 cents a piece.  The price varies depending on how many you order.  Of course the more you order, the bigger your savings.  But I thought 13 cents is very reasonable.  You figure if you order 100 of those your only looking at $13.00 plus shipping.  Then you have 100 handy magnets to handout when needed.  Custom business card magnets are only 8 cents to 24 cents a piece.  Custom design is free of charge too!

It’s not just small magnets though.  If you were thinking more along the lines of outdoor magnets like car magnets, baseballs or football helmets.  Or they even make magnetic memo boards.

You can find Magnets.com on twitter as
