phix – an all natural energy aid with lots of benefits Review and giveaway

How many times have you had a list of things to do but no energy to do it all? I know I can say that at least 3 or 4 days a week. Between working outside my home, running after a toddler, doing house work, and running my older two to their activities, I’m beat by the end of the day. Not to mention trying to find some energy for my husband and trying to fight for my blogging time and leisure time.

On more than one occasion, when I’ve been absolutely run down I reached for an energy drink. A lot of them, really aren’t very good for your body. With caffeine and sugar in them, sure they do the job right then and there but what is it really doing to our bodies?

Phix Energy is a new, all natural way to give your body a boost. Phix Energy contains 14 key vitamins and minerals + antioxidants to make it a good energy boost choice. Phix Energy is vegan, gluten free, and made with organic ingredients. The use herbal ingredients like de-caf green tea anti-oxidants, energy restoring NADH, and yerba mate

Another great point, everything about this product is Green! From the natural vegan organic ingredients to the box, packaging, and shipping. The box itself is made of 100% recycled paper.

The box in the picture has 6 individual packets. My pack included the flavors: Citron, Tropic, and Teaberry. I tried the Teaberry (pictured above) first. You simply add one packet to 12-16 oz of water. It mixed easily and did not leave a lot of residue at the bottom when I was finished. It’s lightly sweetened and the flavor is very mild but pleasant. After drinking the whole glass I did feel a little more peppy. The package says you can drink it hot or cold. I rather like it cold.

UGLee Pens, looks funny works great: review and giveaway

UGLee Pens were created by Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee has a BS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and his MD from Stanford University School of Medicine. When he was a medical student, he took lots of notes. As a Dr. he averages 20 full pages of hand written notes a day. With all the writing he’s done he’d find his hand cramping. Thinking there has to be a more comfortable pen. After 8 years of obsessively experimenting, making prototypes, and even being known to fire his own clay pens, he came up with the UGLee Pen.

It has a full size grip where your fingers would grip the pen . It’s paired with the smoothest ink system known.

I tried the UGLee pen for myself and gave one to my husband to use. I work in the health field too. Making my patient list, taking down notes, marking of papers, filling out my mandatory paper work. Not to mention at home with signing kids papers, filling out forms, keeping notes for this blog, and whatever else may come up.

Just holding the pen I was impressed with how comfortable it felt. The grip is larger and has sort of a gel like feel. It has a raised design in the gel-like grip that also seems to help keep it from slipping. It does write well. I had to do the initial scratches at first to get it going but as soon as the ink started to flow I didn’t have to put much pressure at all to get a legible ink stroke.

Another feature I like about the UGLee pens is that the ink cartridge is refillable. A pack of ten refills is only $15 plus shipping. You can get blue, black, or red ink. The pen itself come in a variety of colors. The 3 I received were blue.

You can find UGLEE pen on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/UGLeePen

and on twitter: @UGLeepen
