Prophecy of the Flame – The Dream Cast #1 Treasure Hunt

This post is part of the POTF Treasure Hunt where 1 (one) in 50 (fifty) entries will win a Full Cast Audio Book from CDBaby.com. For more details visit the facebook event page: http://www.facebook.com/events/230620100365877/

Prophecy of the Flame – Book One became #1 on Amazon Kindle in 2010 and has recently been picked up for a movie.

However, it’s not like Spielberg called. This will be an independent film, but a film like none other. The purpose, of what we are calling the Prophecy Project, isn’t a political statement or a debut of some new special effect: The purpose of the Prophecy Project is to entertain millions across the nation with a movie whose net proceeds will help families that are struggling and have lost everything in this recession

As the author, I have donated 100% of my proceeds from Prophecy of the Flame – Book One to Agape Assistance – a 501 (c)(3) that I founded to help families in need. The proceeds from the movie will also go to this charity as well. With Kick-starter contributors funding the Prophecy Project – Agape will be able to receive the 100% of the proceeds from this nationwide film. Donations at the Kick-starter event will earn supporters a unique gift designed for the Prophecy Project.

Check under the seat cushions, in your old jacket, and in your car’s ashtray. Every dollar counts. I am a penny pincher from way back. I know many of you are on a budget in this recession and struggling to stay afloat. However, if everyone who hears about this project jumps in with the minimum donation, we will not only meet our goal, but fully fund this project! If you are touched by the plight of so many families across the nation, join us in helping them.

I have pictured the characters in Prophecy of the Flame for so long… I often watch movies and ask myself – does this star have a part in my cast?

When I first saw Chris Hemsworth in the latest Star Trek movie, I thought I had found the main character for the altruistic, compassionate, brawny, Prince Szames in Prophecy of the Flame, the movie. But I wasn’t positive. I didn’t see him stand next to anyone… would he be tall enough? Then I saw him in Thor. He looked so much like the picture of Szames I had drawn for my book – I knew he was the perfect person for the part. When Chris took his shirt off, oh man, that massage scene between him and Reba took on a whole new perspective! We need massive fan support on our facebook page to get a star of his caliber for this role…

I do have two other stars in mind, just in case Chris is booked up: Both Channing Tatum

and Chris Evens could play the altruistic, handsome, brawny, Prince Szames who falls instantly in love with the fiery Reba… Look for her in future stops along the PotF Treasure Hunt Blog Tour.

Did you know Mixbook.com offers custom Thank You cards?

Mixbook.com offers a lot of products that can be customized the way you want them. With your personal photos, logos, and words.

Mixbook offers a variety of photo cards from holiday cards to thank you cards. I love to keep a set of blank Thank You cards around. I use them when I personally send out a prize to one of my prize winners from Luv Saving Money. They’re also great to have around to send a personal thank you for something you’ve received. I’ve written out thank you cards to friends and coworkers just to brighten their day. Like “Thanks for being such a great friend” or “Thank you for helping me with my presentation.”

I had the opportunity to review the Thank You cards from Mixbook.com. I customized mine with my blog logo, a personal message, and links to some of my social media sites. It was so easy to use the tool on the site to create my own card. You have lots of different options. Do you want it to be landscape or portrait? What do you want your card to say? What image do you want to add? There’s also lots of background colors/textures, stickers to add and lots more. I kept playing around with it. I ended up choosing a flat card and customized it completely. Here is what my finished cards looked like:

I can’t wait to start sending these out. What do you think you’d create a Thank You card to use for?

You can find Mixbook on twitter @Mixbook and you can find Mixbook on facebook.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Printrunner.com, full service printing company for your needs: Giveaway

Printrunner.com started off as a small business with little more than a small press and a dream of course. In just a decade, Printrunner.com has become one of the foremost printers in Southern California. They are committed to providing you with the best quality and value for full color printing at an affordable price. This is what helped Printrunner.com grow to what it is today. They are a full service printing company located in Chatsworth, California. It’s your go to place for online printing.

Looking over the site you see the wide selection of print products they offer. Everything from business cards to bumper stickers, presentation folders to CD/DVD sleeves, and more. They even have a design tool on the site to design your own file online if you like. Maybe you’re not creative or want just a little more, they also offer design services.

One fave product I love to utilize for my blog is custom stickers. Why? Because they’re so versatile. I get them made up with my blog URL and stick them to envelopes I send out (yes even on bills), I put one on the back of my clipboard at work so when I’m carrying it or holding it up people can see it. They’re great and affordable handout items too. Did you know that Printrunner can print stickers like the ones pictured above?

You can also find @Printrunner on twitter and Printrunner on facebook.

Prophecy of the Flame book tour and Kindle giveaway

In a blinding flash of light, five
nondescript strangers are yanked from this world and thrust into a land of
sorcery. Transformed into the characters they were pretending to be;
Archmage Reba, Jamison the healer, Jerik the dwarf, Charles the prince
charming, and Allinon the druid elf blend twentieth century technology
with the supernatural powers of this new world.

This band of wannabe heroes soon discovers that having the powers you have
always dreamed of, does not make life a dream come true. The Crusaders of
the Light struggle to form a cohesive band as they fight to liberate the
kingdom of Cuthburan from the evil horde threatening humanity.

Battle is also waged within Reba, an ordinary housewife who has become the
most powerful mage on the planet, as she struggles to remain true to her
wedding vows. Drawn against her will to the arms of Prince Alexandros,
Reba must choose between the prophesied marriage to a handsome prince in a
magical world or returning to the husband she left behind.
