Warm Summer Nights and Iced Tea with Swiss Premium

I’ve spent many summer nights relaxing on my front porch with glass of iced tea, condensation forming on my glass. Warm summer nights with a citronella candle burning to keep the bugs away.  Doing nothing but sipping tea, talking with friends or family, and people watching. Listening to the sounds…the cars rolling past, the crickets chirping, kids talking, maybe some music playing.  That is, after all the summer play and outdoor work are done for the day.  A nice cold jug of Swiss Premium™ Iced Tea to quench the thirst and last the conversation.  A sip of sweet refreshment while gardening or playing outside with the kids.

It’s been in the 80s and 90s here in Pennsylvania. I try not to complain.  I’d rather it be hot than cold. This year we decided to plant a vegetable garden in addition to the several flower beds we have. The kids love to help with the gardening.

If I give them their own gardening gloves and tools they’ll dig right in. Give them a cold drink and they’ll stay out there the whole time and help me.   It gives the kids an outdoor activity they enjoy and they appreciate what’s growing. That’s why we started the vegetable garden.  They help me pick the vegetables and they get excited when they see things growing.  Weeding is hard work but we take a jug of iced tea outside with us and stay refreshed while we work on a labor of love.

Of course, after the work is done, it’s time to relax.  A kid’s gotta play and what’s the summer for if you can’t lounge around outside for a while?  For me it’s relaxing on the bench swing.  For my kids it’s running around in the yard, playing on the swing set, or family time around the fire pit roasting marshmallows.

Then at the end of our day comes the relaxing on the front porch that I love so much. I find myself on the front porch myself sometimes relaxing, unwinding from a long day. My kids will often find me and join me. I’ll pour them a cold drink to enjoy and we’ll just talk about life, things we wanna do this summer, etc. Whatever comes to mind, It’s a great way to connect. That’s how we #TeaItUp

Swiss Premium Tea use pure, natural ingredients using water, sugar, and tea. My personal favorite is the peach tea. So refreshing and the peach flavor is so natural and crisp.  Find a coupon at Swiss-tea.com.  There’s also currently an ibotta rebate for some stores.

  1. I’m not a tea drinker but my boyfriend and son are. We buy this brand occasionally and probably would more but it’s not available at our local Kroger and only sometimes available at our Walmart.

  2. it sounds delicious but the only upside to it not being available here is at least we don’t have to share arizona iced tea in any other state either.
