I seem to go through at least one digital camera every year to year and a half. So anytime I see a good deal I consider buying on to have on hand when my current one dies. I can’t go too long without a digital camera.

In May at the end of the current school year, my son will be taking a big trip but I don’t want to send him with my camera to take pics. This camera would be perfect for him. It’s cheap enough and hopefully takes good pictures and if he accidentally breaks it, I wouldn’t be out of a whole lot of money.
