Jackpot Candles Review and Reveal

Please Share

I received the below mentioned product in order to complete an honest review.  Any opinions expressed are my own.  Prize is sponsored by Jackpot Candles.

Jackpot Candles as their slogan goes “A Jackpot In Every Candle” I’m a fan of scented candles.  Over the years though I’ve gotten more and more particular.  I prefer soy candles.  If they’re made in the USA, well that candle is for me.  Jackpot Candles are just that and then some. Hand poured right here in the US.

Jackpot Candles review

I already told you a few reasons to love Jackpot Candles but why not a few more? How about the scent choices available?  I had such a hard time deciding which scent I wanted to review.  I finally decided on Hot Fudge Brownie.  For one reason because it was a bit off from my regular go-to scents.  I wanted to try something different. Another reason…who doesn’t love the smell of brownies in their kitchen?

I received my candle pretty quickly.  I trimmed the wick and wasted no time lighting it.  Within a few minutes the smell of chocolate started wafting through the house.  The chocolate scent kind of put me in mind of opening a fresh tootsie roll and bringing it up to your mouth.

I let my candle burn for a few hours each day. There was some mushrooming of the wick so I made sure to trim it before lighting each time.  Each day I patiently waited for a glimpse of what could be my jackpot.  The picture below is after about 3 days of burning roughly 4 hours each day. Oh and PS it burned really nice.  When I say “really nice” I mean smooth, no tunneling or pooling in certain areas.

Jackpot candle burning

While my candle burned I enjoyed the pleasant chocolate scent and anxiously documented my progress on instagram. After day 3 I blew out my candle, went to bed and figured tomorrow is another day.  Can I be honest with you though, I’m happy it took a few days longer than most candles of this type have.  I’ve had other ones where I burn it for a day or two and there’s the prize  I mean, don’t get me wrong I love candles but I like the anticipation of the prize too.  Oh one thing I forgot to mention with Jackpot Candles…you can choose what type of jewelry prize you get.  You can pick a necklace, earrings, or ring.  I chose an earring prize.  BUT you have no idea what your prize will  look like or how much it’s worth.  That’s the fun part.

So I went to light my candle on day 4 and noticed some shininess peeking our of the dried wax.

Even though I knew it was there I still had to light it for a bit to loosen the wax and pull out my prize.  I did as any good blogger/vlogger would do and did a video of me pulling my  prize out and opening it:

So did you watch the video.  I went to Jackpot Candles’ appraisal page, put in my code and it said my earring were valued at $22.  Hey I’ll take it.  They can be worn with anything really.  Here’s an up close picture of the earrings that came out of my Hot Fudge Brownie Jackpot Candle.

  1. I
Would choose lilac it sounds like an awesome spring preview. I’m glad to see they wrap the items to protect them.

  2. The Caramel Coffee Latte candle sounds like it would smell amazing – I would love to try it.

  3. Id choose between banana nut bread, vanilla cupcake or one of my all time favorite scents cucumber melon.

  4. I think I would choose the Lilac Jewelry Candle. I just love lilac, and frankly, am looking for some spring scents.

  5. I would pick the lilac scent for my candle. Lilacs remind me of spring and I am so ready for spring to be here.
