Believe it or not, I’ve never made whole bean coffee at home.  I didn’t own a coffee grinder.  My sister said her husband had asked for a coffee grinder last year. She said the difference in the taste of packaged ground coffee and whole bean coffee was surprising.  I didn’t really believe her, I mean coffee is coffee right?  When I received this, I didn’t initial realize it was whole bean.  So I went out and bought a cheap grinder.  I’ll probably use it again down the road I told myself.

My one son had fun grinding the beans in the grinder.  The smell was so tempting.  Then when it was brewing, Oh my goodness.  I couldn’t wait to try it.  This coffee had a richer taste than my normal off the shelf national brand I usually buy. My husband tried it too.  He took his first few sips and said “that’s not too bad” This coffee gave me a whole new avenue of flavor.  I’m not sure if it’s the coffee blend or that fact that it was fresh ground whole bean.  Whatever it is is, I like it.  Below is a pic of my freshly brewed cup of fair trade coffee.

I’m loving the hand crafted olivewood spoon too.  It’s a smooth and solid wooden spoon I’m proud to add to my kitchen collection. I always like to add things in my kitchen that have more meaning or a story involved.

If money was no issue I would probably personally go to the places to make sure the money goes towards really helping people and teaching them how to build and do things, instead of the money getting pocketed by their corrupt governments. As far as the site goes, if money wasn’t an issue I would probably donate a few hundred.

  3. If money were no object, I would supply all the gifts, the goats, chickens, clean water, everything. The animals and the water are most important.

  12. I would donate Chickens. They’re rather cheap to keep and feed and they will provide a daily food source, even though eggs aren’t a lot of food, but their good for protein and other things.

  36. To a people in need there is nothing more important than clean water, so I would donate the $15,000 Deep Well and Hand Pump!

  38. If money were no object I would donate to the education experience, there is so much there that would make a difference in the lives of the children.

It’s horrible that there are still people and children in the world that have to go without things that I often take for granted such as clothing, shelter, and clean water. Visiting this page has definitely given me some gratitude for the day. I’m blessed with those simple things that are so important and it’s awful that there are children in the world who have to go without. If money were no object I’d donate as much as I possible could. Medical care, shelter, and clean water would probably be the first on my list to donate. I wish that I could do more, but I’m going to see if I can get some money together to help these people.   52. I would give one of the duck packages, because ducks are SO hearty and healthy, they don’t need anywhere near the coddling that chickens take.
