It’s that time. I know the kids don’t want to talk about it but it’s time for us parents to start thinking about it…back to school. Time to set up our budgets for each kid. Compile a list of back to school needs. Start scouting for back to school sales. Figure out a way to make sure each kids doesn’t lose the stuff they do get.

Bright Star Kids School Label Value kit is a great way to ensure the kids aren’t arguing over whose is whose and other kids aren’t school aren’t accidently taking their things. As a matter of fact, when my youngest son started preschool last year it was a requirement at his preschool that everything had to be labeled. I’m talking: clothing, nap blankets, box of crayons, backpacks, their storage box, everything. Bright Star Kids back to school labels make that task a lot easier. Just peel and stick!

Here are a few things you should definitely consider labeling for your kids:

1. Backpacks – sometimes kids the same age have the same taste.

2. Nap time mats — for kindergarteners or pre-schoolers

3. Jackets

4. Pencil boxes and other storage boxes

5. Extra clothes

6. Book Covers — My boys have text book that require book covers. No matter what kind of cover we use (reusable fabrice, paper bags, etc) there’s always someone else that has the same covers as my boys . I like to put a label on the inside flap of the book cover so when someone opens it up, they can clearly see it belongs to my son.

7. Toys – for show and tell or if your school allows them to bring their own

8. Lunches – because there will be tons of brown paper bags and LEGO lunchboxes

9. Calculators — especially the expensive scientific ones they need for advanced math classes

10. Locker decorations – not sure if it’s just our school but locker mirrors, those crazy chandeliers they have now, etc. Label them, they grow legs.
