Walgreens Coupons on FrugalDad.com

FrugalDad.com is a blog that was founded in 2007.  It’s a dad who writes about frugal living and smarter use of your money.    His experience being his own financial missteps and achievements as well as working the phones for credit card companies.  You can find useful tips an information on a number of financial areas. FrugalDad.com has been featured in publications such as the The New Yorker, Kiplinger, Chicago Tribune, StatesmanJournal.com, Los Angeles Daily News,  and a number of other social media sites.  One thing that stood out to me on the site was the “scholarship” section you should check that out if you or someone you know is attending college.

Probably one of my favorite areas on the site is the Walgreens Coupon section of FrugalDad.com.  I’m not fortunate to have a Walgreens within a reasonable distance from my house.  The closest one is about 45 minutes away.  The site offers a list of Walgreens coupons that can be used online.  These coupons are updated as well.  Like what kinds of coupons?  How about 50% Wonderful brand Pistachios, 20% off Plum Organics products, 20% off natural organic beauty products, and more right now.  FrugalDad.com also gives some interesting background information about Walgreens along with the coupons.

The site also offers similar coupons codes for a number of other retailers.  Something I like about this site that I don’t see on many other sites that offer coupon codes is the article that accompanies the coupon code main page.  The article is about how to find and use coupon codes. There is also a gentle reminder about how coupons don’t always save you money.  I know you’re thinking “huh”?  But he raises a valid point about buying something just because you get a good deal but you may not really need it or need that much.  Hey I’m guilty of it sometimes I’ll admit it.  Kind of makes me reflect on my own financial choices.

As a mom who has also seen her ups and downs financially.  I’ve had to learn my lessons that hard way.  If nothing else I’ve become stronger and wiser as far as financial decisions.  I’ve brought my credit score up and my debt down. I make smarter decisions when shopping.  That’s not to say that I can’t still learn more and get even better at it.  I think FrugalDad.com could help me with my financial goals.
