I have a number of friends who are runners. They participate in all kinds of things from marathons to charity fun runs. I just found out about this super fun charity run this year. You’ll want to read about this one.
April 28th is National Superhero Day (who knew?). To kick it off, on April 26 The Super Run® Will have it’s inaugural Super Run® event in Detroit, Michigan. BUT, there are 20 other events scheduled nationally with more to come. This event is awesome, not just because every registered runner gets their own super hero cape to wear for the race, but, you can choose the non-profit you want to raise money for.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never done a run before. I’m not much of a runner but this sounds like a lot of fun for a good cause. The fact that it’s family friendly is even better, I could get my kids to go along with me.
