If you are not familiar with Kickstarter.com it is a site that allows start ups, individuals, and small businesses a way to get the money they need to make their business or product become a reality. We, as the consumer, can donate to money to help our favorite ideas, products, and businesses get off the ground. In exchange, (besides the good feeling of helping a small business) there is usually some incentive to donate. Often the more you donate you will be given the product once it’s produced, company branded merchandise, and I’ve seen many other things offered depending on the amount the consumer donates.
In this post, it’s for a small business that’s already established online but wants to have their first brick and mortar store.
