Holiday Clothes Shopping for My Kids

Anyone who reads this blog at all knows that I’m an early shopper.  I grab deals when I can get them. Yes I’ve already started shopping for the holidays and had the kids write out Christmas lists.  I’ve even got my husband doing it.  He said to me the other day “I know it’s early but if you can make up a list of Christmas ideas for me I’d appreciate it”.  So then I told him.  “I was actually thinking about asking you for yours.” He says “I already started mine” lol.

All this talk about the holidays, I thought I’d mention that I just found a place that offers 45% off men’s dress shirts.  These shirts aren’t for everyone I suppose, heck I’m not even sure they’re for me.  These are luxury dress shirts for that professional guy in your life.  I’m actually looking at these shirts for my oldest son to wear to church on Christmas.  There is one called “Red and White Vichy” that I really like.  Or hey guys, if you’re planning a special date with that special someone in your life, this could be the way to “dress to impress”.

Wouldn’t that be a nice shirt for the holidays coupled with a some black or tan dress pants? This would only work for my older son though.  I like to check out Sears or Children’s Place for the smaller ones.  Holiday outfit shopping for my 4 kids and myself frazzles me a little sometimes.  One kid’s in adult sizes, another kid in husky sizes, another one in kids’ sizes, and yet another in toddlers sizes.  I like them to have a uniform look but that’s near impossible shopping in so many different departments.  So I try to go with an idea. One year it was button shirts with sweater vests, another year it was dress sweaters, yet another year it was henley shirts for the boys.  My daughter’s first Christmas was last year so that was fun, so many choices for girls.  I found super cute outfits for the two younger ones at Easter on a site I discovered called Pink Princess looks like they’ll have some awesome stuff for the holidays too.  Don’t let the name mislead you though, they also have super cute boys’ dress outfits too!

Do you have a favorite place to shop for holiday clothes?
