So much to say about SuperFood Snacks it’s hard to figure out where to start.  I guess I’ll start with the ethics and practices of this company.  They are a sustainable Superfoods company based in Hawaii on the island of Kauai.  They create organic snack foods with specialty ingredients and the use of superfoods. They use only high quality organic and fair trade ingredients.  They make use of ancient techniques of 5 element food combinations. That’s just the snack itself.

They don’t stop there, the packaging also is thought out and green.  It’s the very first ever NatureFlex TM non-gmo that is 100% biodegradable and compostable material! I love a company make the decision themselves to do the right thing for our Earth. 

I had the opportunity to try their Raw Chocolate Sampler.  

I received the following varieties:
–Green Chocolate Dream– which contains Goji, Chlorella, Cacao, Clear Agave, Sunflower Seeds, and more all in one little nugget
–Chocolate Goji Treats — which contains Goji, Cacao, Clear Agave, Coconut, Walnuts, and more
–Chocolate Cherry Qi– which contains Cherries, Cacao, Clear Agave, Pumpkin Seeds, and more
–Brazilian Chocolate Ecstasy — which contains Brazil Nuts, Cacao, Clear Agave, Mango, Chia, and more
All varieties are Gluten free too!
These treats are supposed to be energizing, replenishing, and rejevenation and can be used as a meal replacement.  Each little portable packet contained 3 servings (one serving is 2 nuggets).  These little pouches are small enough to throw in your purse, backpack, or hide in your desk at work.  

I decided to stuff some in the diaper bag when my boys and I went to a race recently.  I knew the food there would be expensive.  This would be a good test of how filling they really are.



Ok so this is me chowing down on the Green Chocolate Dream, the first flavor I tried.  This isn’t chocolate like in a regular candy bar.  It’s raw organic chocolate.  the nuggets kind of reminded me of an organic granola bar in the texture and feel of them.  


All the nuggets have basically the same texture and consistency.  You can taste the flavors in each kind.   They’re actually pretty tasty, especially consider they’re a health food.  My favorite flavor was probably the Chocolate Cherry Qi.  

I ate 2 for breakfast this morning around 7:45 am.  I’m not a big breakfast eater.  But these were perfect for me.  I honestly did not feel hungry all morning.  Even at lunch time I wasn’t that hungry yet.  I’m likin’ these little nuggets.

  16. It is hard to say the the tropical, world or even the sampler they all look so good how do you pick one especially when you are going to share them with your loved ones so they will taste even better being shared with love.
