In an effort to be more eco-friendly, I’ve been trying to remember to use reusable bags more often. Some stores it’s a little easier for me to remember than others.
I have a number of reusable bags that come with a convenient little bag to store them in. This makes them more compact and easier to store in my purse when I need it. The problem is that sometime I just can’t seem to find the little storage bag.
Reuseit.com offers a shopping bag with a great idea. The ChicoBag rePETe Ultra-Compact Sling bag has the storage bag attached. That’s right, just pull the bag right out of the little storage back and turn it inside out . The little storage bag is on the inside of the shopping bag. When you’re done with it just fold it into itself. So convenient
You can see that this shopping bag is already getting broken in. I used it for my shopping trip to Bottom Dollar Foods (you can see me tossing it under the cart at the beginning of the video) and most recently I took it with me when I chaperoned my oldest son’s field trip to a local historical center. This bag holds a lot. But, it folds into a compact little bag that’s attached on the seam. You can’t see it in the above picture because it’s inside right now. Fold it up and it looks like this:
There’s a little carabiner ring on the side so you can clip it to your purse, diaper bag, backpack, or belt look if you like. Otherwise it can easily fit into a purse or diaper bag to take with you.
