Wool Dryer balls have become a staple laundry item in my house.  Not only are they more eco-friendly but it makes laundry just a little easier, and saves you money.

Reusa Wool Dryer Balls are 100% natural.  They are handmade and never actually “wear out”.  It’s possible that over time they can pill like a wool sweater but it doesn’t effect your clothes.  Reusa Wool Dryer balls are unscented.  If you prefer scent in your laundry, like I sometimes do, you can add a few drops of essential oils to the dryer balls to add scent to your laundry.  Reusa Wool Dryer Balls come in natural color or 15 fun colors.

Wool dryer balls are also supposed to reduce drying time for your laundry by up to 50%.  They can also reduce static. I received a box of 3 to try for myself.

You just put the dryer balls into your dryer.  Throw your laundry in from the washing machine and start.  No need for dryer sheets, making wool dryer balls a greener and more affordable option.  Also better for those with sensitive skin.

I put the 3 Reusa Dryer Balls in my dryer. I had washed my comforter from my bed.  I usually have to put it through 2 full times and a 3rd time for about 20 additional minutes.  I only had to put it through twice.  It didn’t cut my drying time with that by 50% but it did shave some time off he norm.

I prefer the wool dryer balls for convenience too.  I don’t even have to take them out.  I just leave them in the dryer all the time.  No forgetting the dryer sheet and they’re always in there to cut down on the dry time.  The only annoyance  I have is that sometimes they like to get stuck in the clothes.  I’ll bring a load of laundry up and I’ll find one hiding in a pillow case or a sleeve. It’s no big deal though, just throw it back in.

They are about the size of a baseball. It’s not the intended use but my kids love to play with them.  Toss the around the house a bit or roll them on the floor.  Since they’re nothing but wool balls I don’t have to worry too much about them hurting someone with them.

  1. I have a set of dryer balls and love them. I am no longer dependent on dryer sheets or softeners when I use my dryer. I need another set for big loads.

  2. I’ve never used these…but they look AWESOME! I often forget to put a dryer sheet in with a load and I hate how they make your hand smell all day long after you touch one.

  3. I have not, but I have wanted to for some time to help my clothes, because I hear they work great!

  4. We are about to start cloth diapering and I would love to try the wool dryer balls as they are recommended to make drying the inserts and prefolds much faster. Thanks!

  5. I don’t use wool balls yet but have been wanting to try them forever! I don’t use dryer sheets because of chemicals so I just beat clothes to get out static. I’d love to use wool balls instead!

  6. I have never used them but they sound wonderful. I love the idea of cutting down the drying time.

  7. I’ve never used these before. Usually use dryer sheets but this seems better for the environment!

  8. I haven’t. I do have plastic dryer balls that I love. But the wool sounds like it would cut drying time even better, so I’d love to give them a try!

  12. I have not used wool dryer balls before. I would like to try them to see if they will cut down the amount of time it takes to dry an average load of laundry so we can reduce our electrical consumption. We use the dryer a lot in the winter.
