After the birth of my 3rd son I found that the extra lbs. that went away like after my first 2, just didn’t go away this time. What’s more is that I actually gained some additional. Even though I didn’t change my eating habits from before. Perhaps I am a little less active than I used to be. The idea of dieting just seemed almost impossible to me. I love my coca-cola and chocolate. Maybe the occasional salty snack. For the most part though I didn’t think I ate terribly. In fact, one of my fave foods is salad. Anyway, I digress.
I think diets would be easier if it could include some things you want to eat. Not just rabbit food and tasteless entrees. Beth Aldrich has a book coming out in January Called “Real Moms Love to Eat“. This title definitely catches my attention. This book has 3 parts. In all it’s a 10 part plan to gradually implement a healthy life style along with 21 days of meal suggestions, tips, recipes, and lifestyle changes.
Even though the book doesn’t come out until January, you can pre-order it now on Beth’s site. If you pre-order the book or sign up for her newsletter, you have a chance at winning some great prizes.
Also, if you’re a blogger you can get in on Beth’s Food Affairiate program to participate in the blog tour and get a free copy of the book. Help spread the word about “Real Moms Love to Eat” and be a part of the virtual book tour.
I think this is going to be a great book to read. Especially for those that are gonna want to try to lose those post-holiday pounds (raising hand). Still eat what you want but learn how to do it right.
