As I’m writing this post I’m currently about 15 weeks into my pregnancy, this is baby #4. With each one of my children I’ve had morning sickness. With this pregnancy I was (and still am on occasion) getting sick several times a day. For nearly a month I could hardly keep anything down and my doctor finally gave me something for nausea. That is only after I had lost 9 lbs. Pretty much the only things I could tolerate ingesting was apple juice, water, apples, and occasionally broth.
While dealing with all this morning sickness I need to take a prenatal vitamin daily. Most prenatal vitamins are big. When you don’t even feeling like eating a bite of meat or taking a bite out of sandwich, a prenatal vitamin can look like a horse pill. I tried to find the smallest one I could find and still couldn’t always keep it down. I did find a solution though, Premama Prenatal Vitamin powdered supplement mix.
I did a video review of Premama Prenatal Vitamins that explains some of the benefits and what I thought of it
The idea is it’s a supplement mix that can be mixed into just about any drink you can tolerate while pregnant. Each packet is your full daily daily of prenatal vitamin but it has two sides. You can take it all at once in 8 oz of your drink of choice or break it up and take half maybe in the morning and the other half in the afternoon or before bed. Whenever you feel like you can. It has no flavor to it. I even tried it in water and it didn’t change the flavor or consistency. They are portable so if you can’t take it in the morning due to nausea or any other reason you can stick it in a pocket or purse and take it when it works out for you.
